Why does everyone keep saying this? Just because they both starred DiCaprio...they're different studios! We all know Warner Bros have been really lacklustre with their steelbooks of late (Gravity will surely repeat that failure), but Wolf is released by Universal who have been pretty good of late. It'll be fine. It's the artwork that I was worried about anyway and they've trumped everyone on that!
Does anyone know when this will go live again?
Nothing to do with the actor or the studio, but more that the original artwork was stunning and the changes severely ruined it. The recent Thor 2 and Frozen changes were welcome by comparison, and I can't think of any other major artwork changes in the last few months to use in comparison.
Plus both Gatsby and this started out with NON-CHARACTER Artwork, so it's also a very obvious parallel to make.
answer your questions?
No it didn't answer my questions, I was wondering why you (and others) have it in your heads that they're going to change the artwork from what it is now. Why would they when it's already selling so well on pre-order? Doesn't make sense.
Now if they were to change the artwork for the Fargo steelbook that would make sense. But of course not every studio has much of that when it comes to steelbook designs.

Ended up cancelling this one... May end up regretting it once it releases, but the mock up (if that's what will be released), is really plain. At first the yellow had me all excited, but that faded pretty quickly and the initial hype I had for a yellow steel died. Geek's mock up blows this one out of the water, in my opinion (which I'm starting to wish I didn't see!).
sorry to be ignorant but what mack up is that?
Loved the movie, I heard that this is going to be a 4 hour extended edition. Day 1 purchase for me
