However, the website still says "Wal-Mart Exclusive". I'm assuming that's just in reference to the slipcover or something else. The amaray slipcover does not have any kind of "exclusively/only at Wal-Mart" sticker on it like their exclusives usually do.

Looks a lot like the target steelbook cover, doesn't it? Not really sure what to think here. I do live in a VERY small town right outside of Houston, so there is a slight possibility that they didn't receive the steelbook (if such does exist). However, they did get copies of the Man of Steel steelbook, so if this release had one I don't see why they wouldn't have it. I'm sure someone else will be able to provide a bit more clarification here in the coming hours. I'm DEFINITELY going to pick up a copy or two of the Target version and have a Canadian buddy of mine grab me a copy or two of the Wal-Mart version up there.

Yeah, I read the title of the thread. Just seemed that no one could confirm or deny whether it would be released in the states or not. With Wal-Mart being such a HUGE retailer in the U.S., just seemed to make sense that it would be here before anywhere else. Also, it's listed on the website as "Wal-Mart Exclusive". In the past, there has been a number of steelbooks advertised this way (by Wal-Mart) rather than with the phrase "steelbook packaging". All that and the fact that there were a number of ninjas inquiring about it and that it's less than a mile from my house, it seemed to be worth a shot.

It's pretty bad, that's for sure. This will be the open up and watch copy, and now we need that awesome art on the Czech release to come true
I will give Walmart a few points for going after steelbooks, would be nice for them to maybe focus on getting the big blockbusters.

This one don't need to gloss..I felt they could have made good use of the back space instead of an empty yellow..reminded me of Spider-Man 1-3 FS steelbooks. Hopefully, anchorman 1/2 is better
So disappointed!! I waited to finally see the artwork and it's the same as targets

Got this is the mail today. Really disappointing in this artwork, could have done so much more. Will probably be returning it.
