It will be available in HMV Rep of Ireland Stores next Friday but not for online orders

I will be speaking to Xtravision/hmv store in Navan on Monday
I will find out then

I would say yes most likely in the big Xtravision/hmv Stores but unlikely to be in the small stores
as i expect stock allocation will be to the stores that sell lot of Blu-rays
Best option will be ask them to get you one to purchase as some small Xtravision stores
only have HMV CDs stock and most stock is still Xtravision DVDs

I was thinking the same so i decided to pre-order today. Couldnt take the risk.

Got myself a nice display today in our HMV in Belfast.

What happened was the shop guy who was told to put this together made such a mess of building the base that it was deemed unusable for the shop floor so was left in the back store.

I went into check on my preorders just happened to mention the display that I knew the other stores in England had and simple case of If you don't ask you don't get

Shame I dont have the base with the exclusive writing and steelbook holder etc, could make something up for it if need be just nice to get something for nothing and before the movie is released .

FYI I've spoken to my local HMV and they've promised to take some pictures of the steelbook soon as he gets them in. (Which should be Thursday or Friday)

judging by how many copies my local HMV had of the exclusive Good day to Die Hard steelbook I would doubt this would sell out on day one-bearing in mind this is 3d and a bit more expensive-anyone got a confirmation on the price?

Difference being Good day was a crap steel for a crap film on a HUGE print run. Might have been exclusive but it was not limited. My local store still has a pile of them. They have already almost sold out of the stock they are getting for The Wolverine before it has even hit the shelves, and the nearest city store has been told they are getting half the copies they originally were assigned. Unlike Good Day, this is a gorgeous looking steel for a fairly good film on a limited run.

Price is 22.99!

Take it from someone who used to do the buying-there will be stock on the shelves 1st day with orders covered-Drive may have sold out online 3 weeks before the release but stores still had a stock holding to cover the shop floor-HMV do not like gaps on the new release wall

Oh I don't think this will sell out before release, but I don't think you will find it easy to pick up after the first week or 2 except in the bigger stores
