Mine also from Amazon, and now they can't replace it as it's sold out! Big deep scratch down the back!!! Not happy!!!
Just found one in my local hmv, bit damaged at the top by looks of it in film but am not sure the extent of the damage, still worth buying I thought at £22

We're laughing as well could you show us some of your steels from the late 80s then, didn't think they made VHS in steel format maybe I'm wrong.

finally i got the chance to watch it a few days ago....it was fun, but not to the point of having the steelbook, i will pass on this one....
Not had chance to watch it yet, but I must say, the steelbook is just ok. I'll never understand how some steels manage to become so highly sought after. There are so much more nicer ones around than this, but the price on this has gone crazy!!
I may do a Group Buy if there is enough interest...We are looking at around £27 + Shipping.

I'd probably join a group buy as i know my local hmv has sold out, so unless i get one at the weekend when i do christmas with the parents i will need to find one somehow!!!

Just received this morning an "Order Delay" message from WOW HD regarding The World's End steelbook:
"We have experienced a delay in receiving this product from our suppliers and we are currently awaiting confirmation of when the goods will be available for despatch."
Also received the same message regarding Kick-Ass 2 on the 22nd.
From what I've gathered reading the threads at HDN, WOW HD has a bit of a track record in failing to deliver some pre-order titles.
No other on-line retailer seems to have these steelbooks in stock, I wonder if WOW HD will get any stock at all?
Of course, I'm still hoping, but not feeling too confident at the moment...
Awesome, only thing is packaging, had some amarays from them before and packaging was not great. whats the experience with steelbooks. don't want to order this and find its messed up when it arrives!
