This release looks awesome! I was initially thinking about not getting involved with another exclusive line because my desire would be to collect all releases, and I already have 2 types of ZDT steelbooks (the next one in line for PA). But man that full package for both releases looks terrific!!

Holy smokes...THIS is how you do it. Personally, limited print run on a bare bones release is unappealing. But, throw in some extras, slap a number on that baby stating the limitedness (is that a word??), and I am IN! So, even though the full slip has a higher print run, that's what I'll be getting. Top notch release.

this works out at £28.16 for me. God its tempting!

For everything we're getting with this release, that price is an absolute deal. I think people should be making up their minds quickly. I already know that I'm getting that full slip edition and I can't wait to see what they do with Zero Dark Thirty and beyond.

will this cost a lot to ship?:ohno:

My 0.1K print run ("unlimited edition" :)) Melancholia from Plain Archive arrived today. It was packaged exactly as seen in works99's pictures in post #253.

They use bubble wrap like it grows on trees! About 3m of 50cm wide bubble wrap for a regular Amaray (well, Viva Elite) case. I guess that is their standard method of packaging a Blu-ray film

USD 10 for shipping, will probably be the same for one steelbook.

As this is less than the duty limit, us UK members will only have to pay VAT on these at customs which totals at £5.61, if customs are feeling nice they will just waive this as its such a small amount, but if they are really up tight then it will cost you £5.61 VAT plus an £8 royal mail handling fee totalling at £13.61(ish)...

So, if they feel nice then hopefully no import charges, but if they are on the ball due to a lot of these entering the country then this will cost neer £14 for customs to release... Hope that helps some of you ;)

HMRC will NEVER waive customs fees unless it is a couple of pence, but they don't have the man power to check every single parcel, so a few slip through without charge. The massive shipping boxes that Plain Archive evidently use would appear to be absolute customs magnets.

Crap!! I was considering cutting down on steels and now this new exclusive line from PA, ok ok, BF/KimchiDVD/HDZeta and PA, that's IT :p

I checked about Plain Archive's opinion of under value from their shop.

Dear international customers.

Half excited and half concerned, as the pre-order date for “The Wrestler” draws near, a big portion of our international customers are demanding undervalued invoice. We are fully aware of the harsh realities regard to import duties added by some European authorities. It’s uneasy for us to watch some of our customers paying extra on top of our products + shipping fees.
.
Unfortunately, an undervalued invoice is strictly forbidden and illegal in most countries. If caught on multiple occasions, Plain Archive could be listed on the authorities’ blacklist, banning us from shipping our products to destinations around the world. Therefore, Plain Archive OFFICIALLY does not provide an undervalued invoice to our international customers.
.
However, if you think your country’s authorities add a ridiculous sum of duties even when purchasing a single-disc, for example, we advise you to leave a message under the “note” section when purchasing through our online store. Please note that we cannot undervalue our products significantly, but we will do our best to fairly unload your burden. Again, this is not an official service, and we do not take responsibilities for any extra duties or taxes that may be added by the officials.
.
We greatly appreciate your interest in Plain Archive and our products. The Plain Archive team in Korea is encouraged by your positive, as well as your negative feedbacks. To meet your high expectations, we will never stop putting our best efforts.

Thanks for sharing this Teddyjun

Perhaps those who might get hit by customs fees, could ask for this to be marked as gift... Just a thought.
