The more I thought about this my reasons lead to a no buy. I'd spend all that money and likely never want to open it. Therefore it's jus sit on the shelf with the rest until I feel like I can sell on at a decent profit. Which is something I'm against so its a no buy. Does look a quality product though.

I wished them good luck with their first steel and asked for them to do anything they could to alleviate customs costs but I don't mind if they can't. Really happy to have the full slip of this. Fantastic film and a beautiful steelbook... Wonder what they will do next?

Me too. Really do want this but at this moment in time I'm resisting. Will either get it once I hear how customs works out for others or if they sell out by then maybe try my luck on ebay down the line for cost price or under.

I like everything here except the lack of English in the booklet, otherwise it would have been a must buy.

Balls, I forgot to leave a message for customs .

I looked it up now and the limit for importing to France from outside the EU without the risk of customs seems to be €150 (£123/$203). Is it true?

If so...



I mean, given how many UK Ninjas have been hit by customs, maybe I'm not looking at the right category (one would assume France and the UK can't be that different) ; from private individual to private individual it's €45, but Plain Archive isn't a private individual, so it does feel like it's an amazing €150 threshold. I only ordered the full slip edition ($46 = 35€) so I shall see.

And kudos to Plain Archive for their good taste, their well-organized website, and my 12:01am transaction was as smooth as a baby's cheeks .
