So many other crappie releases sell out in an instant, it would be unfair to PlainArchive to NOT SELL OUT.

Great points. The amount of time and love that goes into their releases shows; to them it is an art, and art cannot be rushed. The fact they're only releasing a very select number of editions every few months increases their desirability to myself as a collector. Just as an example, take Zavvi's version of Reservoir Dogs (which I own). Objectively it's truly dreadful. You can tell it was knocked up on someone's lunch hour to make a fast buck. That's just one example, but that sort of thing happens all the time. In comparison with the Wrestler, as collectables, they are worlds apart. And for quality like that I'm happy to pay a premium.

You've missed nothing.

They have high standards when it comes to customer satisfaction and after sales, so they're just holding out replacement copies for the "what if" happens, or a customer is unsatisfied.

Truly remarkable and admirable, making money is essential to succeed as a business, but they do it with the utter most respect towards their happy customers and that is a blessing and they have created their own niche.

They brought their a-game and if they stay this way, I predict bigger things for Plain Archive.

Quite often in these threads the virtues of the film itself get overlooked, but I agree with you. Not interested in 'Wrestling' at all, but still I found this film utterly compelling. Rourke was born for the role and played it perfectly. Would probably have never seen this if it hadn't of been picked up by PA.
