I'm pretty sure the numbering is random. Someone just recieved number 3 in a post above! I do think stock will be getting low now though, this is a great release, I'm suprised it hasn't sold out already.

I can`t believe that 1000 pieces for international buyers is that much. Lots of guys in the forums from a whole bunch of countries who buy, often several pieces. Why is it still not sold out. Strange.

I was wondering the same thing. I believe PA's site only allows you to purchase up to 3 of any version, which may be part of the reason why this hasn't sold out yet. Also, it could be because Plain Archive is just establishing itself in the market.

I love this release. The only gripe if I did have any critique is that I wish the slipcases' colour would be richer as it looks a bit faded, but still I love this film and my 5 Blu-ray versions that I own.

The 'unrich' colours are matching with the film, otherwise it would look like a Disney or Marvel release IMO. It is a great release.

I can see that, still would prefer a little bit more contrast, not really rich colour that I want I guess.

For some strange reason this is now PA 002 not 1. Even though it was released first.
Seems that it's been demoted by a tarted up amaray.

It was always PA002, it was just the first steelbook release. That amaray release of Melancholia is a re-release and both this one and the previous one have amazing artwork

He may be your friend now, but that may change once he's broke, bankrupt and blaming you for introducing him to this site. All of the threads and info about new releases have a tendency to drain your wallet in the blink of an eye.
