Obviously I'm partial to this forum, but I do not see this type of DEDICATION in other discussion forums that have dedicated steelbook discussion sections.

I don't think we need to keep hammering this subject. We get it. It's limited, it's gonna be an exciting time in collecting going forward.

In order to avoid bulk orders, why doesn't Zavvi just put a limit on the number of limited edition steels a person can order? Wouldn't that avoid this ridiculous roundelay of a steel getting sold out, then bulk orders getting cancelled, then the steel going back up for pre-order, then getting sold out again and then perhaps it going back up for pre-order yet again.

Many HDN members are just too busy with other aspects of their lives to keep up with these multiple resells. Sorry, just venting a wee bit.

There is a limit of 5 items (same) per order as per T&C's on their page

I would automatically go for There Will be Blood! One of my top 10 films of all times. I tried to watch Pain & Gain but stopped after like 10 minutes. Did not like it.

Which would you choose and why

Like the Film more or because of the limited factor or other reason

Me its very straight forward I like There Will be Blood as a movie and would have purchased as a steelbook regardless if it was limited or not

I've been that way a lot lately ... ofcourse for me that just means I purchase a lot or maybe too many steels. As I like a LOT of movies.

I also despise how HDN members seem to get preferential treatment. F*** everybody else.

zavvi have the uk steelbook market in a stranglehold (ie almost complete monopoly) and it seems HDN have a good relationship with zavvi in promoting the steelbook to collectors.

if you are a collector, you will know this. that is, you will watch this forum knowing this is where the steelbook news will break

I don't believe it's sold out .

I mean, Classic Disney steelbooks limited to 4K sell out in 4-7 days, but this movie sells out in 6 hours. I know it's 2K , but at this rate, the Disney releases should've taken 12 hours to sell out, but took much longer.

I dunno... My personal opinion is that it's far from sold out. We'll probably see it go live at least a few times before release...

Just imagine how fast it would have sold out if it was a Disney movie.
