What happened 3-4 months ago?

To be honest there is no better artwork than the HMV one. So if blufans are going to do Thor even they could not find anything better art to top this design.

Nothing gonna beat classy spot gloss HMV version for sure . but this one will be nice addition to my collection

I will be getting this, seeing as I have basically quit Zavvi and catalogue titles.i have the awesome original Steelbook (with Helmet) but I like the cloud effect, adds depth.

Say what u will about zavvi but at least they try to give us a heads up with these kinds of releases - and we get 2 vote sometimes via zavvi liasing with the staff here whenever they are thinking about reprinting a "grail" steelbook.

i got nothing against kimichi or BF, but they dont seem to give a **** when it comes to asking before reprinting grails. All they gots in their eyes is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$£££££££££££££££££££€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€

I'm disappointed too, but on the second thought, i see it as a fact that this will have high demand too.
It is THOR, 500 copies, blufans, very very little but different artwork (within disneys conditions, i think), nice steelbook slip! Will sell out fast and then everyone would like to have it in his collection or beside the first one!

I think hmv, müller, asia owners don't have to worry, because it's simple the first release and has/will have many fans and will be still sought after. (i'm a owner)
This will have many fans/glad owners too. (me i hope, unless their shop isn't ready)
And Bulfans simply want more attention and $$$, cause marvel is a cashcow, marvel/disney will laugh too.
Isn't money all this business is about, today?

Imo the only real question is (if you want it & there is no GB), will the blufans international shop be ready & functional when this comes out?? And will the servers stand this high demand before sell out, not as kimchis? And i love the kimchi releases.

I think it looks ok & I couldn't care less about grails. All any of these Retailers want is your money. Why have Zavvi suddenly started with the 2000 limited print runs? why did kimchi within the last week decide to release an Amelie tri pack? Because they want your money.
When Amelie was announced by kimchi there was a mixed response & questioning wether it was worthy of a kimchi release. So kimchi within the last week cleverly release a tripack stick a couple of badges in & everyone buys 3 steels of the same movie in a box that sells out in minutes.
I've no doubt when this is released it will sell out regardless of the criticism it's getting.

I think Blufans site will implode when it goes live with collectors trying to pre order....

The most important thing Blufans needs to do before the International site goes live is make sure they have amazing servers to cope with the onslaught they will get on pre order days...

The disappointment mainly stems from these 3 letters: WEA; whereby most of us immediately assumed that this would feature some artwork that hasn't been done before.

Is what we've seen really WEA? Technically yes it is: clouds + different back (not bad) + a slip that figures artwork showcased on US amaray previously.

Is that we were expecting from Blufans? That's a resounding hell no! after what we've grown accustomed to over the past releases, recycling the previous release's front artwork and adding these clouds justifies the "lazy" monicker.

In all cases, based on what we've seen recently with Frozen and the possibility of the artwork being changed at the expense of a delay, I think if enough people voice their discontent with how this looks, this might happen here as well.

This is easily Thor's most valuable release to date. Just glad I unloaded my HMV copy in time since this is so similar. Being replaced by a more premium release.Not the most creative but still a thumbs up.
