The back doesn't do it for me. The inside is a great choice (although spoiler for those that haven't seen it) and the front would be cool without the floating heads. I already have the original, so probably pass for me. Although anyone wanting ANY Thor steelbook, this is good for them .

I never thought of it as a spoiler before.

Overall it's a nice release. Front and inside artwork is cool, but the back makes it look cheap. Very cheap at that.

Like I said in the Captain America thread, I've thought this over a bit and will likely settle and end up purchasing these after all.

Reason is I'm a Marvel fanboy and a steelbook collector, so I'm really wanting a steelbook for all Marvel movies. I also have a feeling getting the original steelbooks of these will be very hard and very expensive (especially for Thor).

I still don't like the artwork. The back artwork just looks cheap, but this will be affordable and easier to get my hands on. I'm still going to try to get the previous releases though. Hopefully someday.

Glossy treatment with embossing could be a great selling point for this and Captain America.

Ya gotta admit, it's hard to resist embossed gloss.

Same here, I had the German Iron Man 1&2 double pack and eventually took a dive on the play.com releases. Still don't regret having the German one, still like it. End of the day, if you're happy with your purchase, it's a good deal

Couldn't agree more, I don't know why they quite often put floating heads on steel books. The majority of them, this included, would look a hell of a lot better without them. By now everyone will know who is in the film, there's no need for them to try and show off the cast.

This artwork kinda reminds me of play.com Watchmen steelbook. And less than 1 year later U.S. got a release exactly like FS watchmen design...anyone wanna jump in a time machine and see if the US gives us another reprint of the original artwork? You never know...now that the US market is starting to demand them....
