This artwork kinda reminds me of play.com Watchmen steelbook. And less than 1 year later U.S. got a release exactly like FS watchmen design...anyone wanna jump in a time machine and see if the US gives us another reprint of the original artwork? You never know...now that the US market is starting to demand them....

This could be but wasn't Watchmen a Warner release? I haven't seen a steelbook re-release from Paramount or Disney like that. It would be awesome if it happened though!

I don't know if anyone else has, but I just sent a long feedback e-mail off to Zavvi about the rear artwork of both of these releases. Might be worth a try, it's worked before and will surely work again

Funnily enough, if it had been a reprint of the original artwork, I would have bought it. Even without the 3D disc. As it is, YAWN....no interest at all.

The more I see it, the more I really do like and appreciate the original steelbook artwork. So simple but effective. If only I could get my grubby hands on it! But alas, those hopes are looking bleak.

As for this one, I agree that a glossy finish would be better than a matte finish. Still though, it wouldn't be my first choice for a Thor steelbook.

You guys realize that it's the same exact cover as the US standard amaray, right? So many of you are talking about the "floating heads", but that exact cover, heads and all, is what was already approved art. Also, the back images are a direct pull from the back of the same standard amaray.
