I don't think they look bad at all... if i didn't have the hmv ones i get these for sure to complete collection.... i don't now what people are expecting it shoud keep everyone happy that the originals are still original and theres something different out there for people

So in that sense i guess these re-releases will still have a negative effect on the originals with many ppl still, as they will just get this over the HMV one.

Where zavvi could mess up though is that these aint as cheap as the play ones, and i dont think these are limited to 4k either

The Hmv ones were £19.99 when bought new so if zavvi keep the price at £15.99 i think they should do alright (depending on if zavvi dont get greedy and bump prices up) for any new collectors

I had a feeling it would just be the amaray artwork. Still I don't own the original so it's a no brainer for me. Like someone said earlier, not great but not bad either.

I think most people feel the same way. +1

P.S - I won't be giving up my original Black version. But I imagine it will affect the price of it since most people can just settle for this one now.

What a hopeless piece of artwork. Original release is 1 million times better. This is just a joke, especially for 15.99. The standard price used to be 14.99 for catalog releases, but Zavvi is not only increasing their price, but also downgrading the quality (art) of the steelbooks.

I don't see the big deal here when Paramount used the Amaray artwork on Iron Mans as well but I agree that it looks a bit disappointing.

Everyone has their opinion (and I'm not dissing you for that) but IMO this is just the Amaray artwork on a Steelbook. The Original THOR Steelbook is one of the most sought after (and beautifully designed in my collection IMO) Steels right now. Why anyone would be happy they sold their copy of that for THIS is beyond me (IMO)

There's just no comparisson (IMO)!!!

I personally think the original is one of the most overrated steelbooks around IMO either way we are both happy.

Big let down on the artwork... i always wonder who is behind the deciding factor regarding artwork....

It just seems to me that they could do with a collector on there books to go over there designs and have an imput.... Although whatever the artwork they will get what they are after and thats a sold out product befor its even released...

They just had the chance to be special...

On a brighter note... i could of been worse.... much worse
