The new code JULZ50 (5 off 50) doesn't even work on Thor or Capt Am.

Zavvi did not have any valid codes when these 2 steels became available, and now that there is a code, they blocked Thor and Capt America, both of which have only been active for 1 week.

Those are wise words, mate. I read somewhere that print run does not matter. But I agree that it does.

Artwork and print run aside, this has only been active for 1 week, so it's not exactly like it's taking forever to sell out.

Also, I believe the main contributing factor is because there were no coupons to use for Thor or Capt America.

People who might usually order 3 or 4 or 5, perhaps just ordered 1 or 2.

What are the chances Zavvi will release Iron Man and Iron Man 2 steelbooks in the near future? Id be happy if they did a new Avengers one aswell, personally I thought the HMV one was pretty lackluster and bland, it could have been so much better! If they release them then they will have all phase one steelbooks which would be brilliant (I dont think people would buy ANOTHER Incredible Hulk steelbook so not including that)

Nope, this and Captain America are still in stock, but then again not very many steelbooks are selling out quickly at the moment on Zavvi

Id be happy if they did a new Avengers one aswell, personally I thought the HMV one was pretty lackluster and bland, it could have been so much better! If they release them then they will have all phase one steelbooks which would be brilliant (I dont think people would buy ANOTHER Incredible Hulk steelbook so not including that)

OT:Just got another original Thor and now this one looks like childs play even more lol. This seriously needs a design rework if it intends to to compete with the other one. If not, its doing a great job.

I only have 2 steels from them pre-ordered at the moment. I had this and cap but canceled them. Personally because I am interested in print run on those 2.
No confirmed number no sale (because I have a original cap and thor)

I have the hrizontal Play.com Hulk, and I think it's fantastic. Awesome clean artwork with glossy finish. Personally I don't mind the horizontal aspect, but I know some people mind. The Hellboy II steel is also horizontal, and I love that one as well.

I do agree with you on that point, because Universal did the last one it was horizontal :/ But I dont think it will get another one, its in the Reel Heroes SB line in the us at the minute which I got. I know it doesnt match the others at all, but at least it is vertical! Also from the sellers perspective I think Iron Man and The Avengers are more guaranteed to make money than the Incredible Hulk (didnt do near aswell at the box office)

Theres a lot to choose from. Its not that there are too many i think its the price thats stopping 99% of zavvis steels from selling out. £15 each for basic old amaray releases in a metal case is pushing it a little....
