I told everyone at BB today to quit using that!@#$%! sticker OR put it in a plastic BB bag then seal it with the sticker.

This is how I've gotten this off rather successfully;
Pick at one corner closest to the Features decal and slowly remove the sticker.

Once you have cleared the Features decal, pull the sticker quickly. I know this sounds backwards, but when I tried to take that sticker off slowly, it stretched the shrink wrap and made it look like my grandma's stockings all loose around her ankles!

Apparently it was supposed to include a DVD copy but they scrapped the idea.

I have to get home and carefully remove it, but who knows it will be easy to do so. They put it on every item, including my amarays. Luckily I managed to take it off he Thor slipcover and Gravity.

Or you could just open it and revel in its beauty.

Packaging was horrible, but luckily mine arrived unscathed. It was shipped in a cardboard mailer with zero bubble wrap.

I am glad I live in an area where there isn't a lot of steelbook collectors never had a single problem just showing up at 10am to get me steels. I have only met one other collector when we were getting Justice League and I asked an employee to get some out of the back for us as they hadn't even put them on the shelves yet. The only problem I came close to having was the last Resident Evil that I showed up at 10 and the store opened at 8 for holiday hours and they were all gone. The employee told me that was it but I went online on my phone right in front of him and did an instore pickup and they had it for me an hour later. They must have some set aside in the back for instore pickups.

I might also be the only one who shoes up on there bike with clipless shoes to get my steels

Mine went from mint to chipped when the lady smacked them on the checkout counter to put em together in the bag.I was like WTH why

Do you really want some random store employee (who doesn't know the meaning of OCD mint), picking YOUR copy of a soon-to-be rare copy steelbook, slapping on a huge sticker which rips up your packaging as soon as you attempt to remove it, and possibly abusing it throwing it around in a pickup bin?

In my case, I showed up @ 10am and took 4-5 copies to inspect. Took the mint OCD steels I wanted and left the rest. I personally took 4 (keeping one sealed, the rest im trading on this forum with other members).

Glad I decided to do the in store puck up early this morning before I got there at 10. Got there and none on the shelf and I was there right when they opened. Got one to keep sealed and one to open. First steelbook I ever got two of. I heard a rumor best buy was going to re release all the marvel movies on steel. If so I'll get two of the whole set!!!

That works in stores that don't get much traffic, the stores around my are didn't have more than 1 on the display. Meaning either they were all done to in store pick up or they were in the back. The first store I went to had a 1 at 10 am. So your situation doesn't always apply.

They didn't used to do this before, they used to just put a piece of paper on top. The sticker thing is new.

A lot of people don't have the luxury of being able to get to a Best Buy until after work, so Store Pick Up is their only recourse if they forgot to pre-order.
