Well I hope it's an improvement on Thor 1 lenti.
Once again the absolute crap Quality Control is evident.
Muck on the outside and muck under the seal!!
It's evident that folks on eBay think the same about BF QC too. The prices of anything BF are bombing.
Let's hope the 1/3 slip saves the day, on both versions.

Much as I like the steels themselves their slip quality isn't a patch on Nova, Pain or Kimchi's which uses much better card with better finishing touches. Don't have the Cap 2 lenti so don't know how good it is, but the Cap 1 lenti is the only good one of the bunch, the rest were Meh!

Definitely agree. By no stretch are Blufans bad but its difficult to put them in the top tier considering their competition

There's nothing wrong with any of the Lentis. The red Thor Lenti is superb.
It's the fact that nothing this year from Blufans, has come without real QC issues.
If they don't wake their ideas up, they are going to be left way behind by the Korean retailers.
I have had all the BF Marvels and most of the releases from the Korean retailers. Nova, Plain, Kimchi.
BF are nowhere compared to the quality of the Korean QC. MILES apart!!

haha I see to be very very lucky, I've had no issues with any of the BF's that have arrived "yet" lol

Maybe you should have gone to Specsavers. [emoji2][emoji2]

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: Ask the people who live with me, I take OCD to new levels not just with steelbooks, "I'm to quote them, a NIGHTMARE" lol

I honestly haven't had any problems with them, I open them all and the steels have been mint, scratch and ding free. The lenti's aren't quite perfect they have the odd faint dull line here and there but only in certain lighting conditions and the slips themselves have been fine no bashes, marks or bends. I only have the Marvel ones and Face/Off but I do know other releases like Frozen have had a ton of problems.

Out of all the Marvel Blu Fans lenti's, Thor is the worst one so far but I still like it.

This one is shaping up to be a very nice one though

On that note, we are still paying an arm and leg to buy them even at Group buy prices.

If they keep bombing in price on ebay the group buy prices need to significantly go down as well otherwise i'll be taking my business elsewhere to a retailer that produces steelbooks that hold it's value very well.

We can't control GB prices. GB prices are what they cost us from the supplier. So that issue is down to Blu Fans reducing their retail cost, nothing to do with us/whoever runs the GB. However, where we do fall a little foul is that we have to charge shipping from the hub to customer (i.e. me to you), but this is done as close to cost as is feesable. We don't set the prices for the GBs, we are given the price from supplier, that is what is charged to the customer.

Of course, feel free to chance it on eBay/forums. At least with the GB you secure your copy and at retail price, not an inflated price. You might get lucky, wait it out and pick up a copy cheaper on eBay/Forums, but on the flip side you could miss out altogether and have to pay an inflated re-seller price.

To be fair prices have dropped or bombed as put it across the board on all these steelbooks on the Bay not just blufans
huge drops really 30 + % easy last couple of months
be it Blufans kimchidvd Hdzeta or Nova
what was 70- 80 + is now high 40+ 50 to 60
Theres so much undercutting by sellers its forcing prices down across the board.
its possible now and again and guess bit of luck and paitence to win a auction for probably less than they paid for them with shipping or not much more
makes you wonder sometimes that maybe they think people who buy these are not going to be opening them so can let things ride.
seal up things that wouldnt be acceptable.
Thats why i don't mind or maybe favour opened steels if got to buy them from auction sites.
they will be cheaper for one
nothing worse than opening a sealed steel you bought of a site with no return policy once opened and its got paint chips scratches and so on.
then got to buy another one

None of the Marvels are lower than the GB cost, not even close.
