hah it comforts me that I am not the only Canadian waiting for their package

I've never not had a Kimchi order show up so I'm not too worried....I'm just very eager to get it!

You guys gotta have a little more will power and stop encouraging these scalpers. I mean we all want it badly but come on $200 it's just not worth it.

It is if people are willing to pay that much.

Exactly, yes technically it may not be good value for money, but worth is decided by what people will pay for it.

...and for the record, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive too...

I know that's how it is. It just sux cuz they ruin it for the rest of us that aren't willing to pay more than retail. And this coming from a guy who paid $140 for an R+J IronPack. But in my defense I got it from a collector and not a scalper.

That's cool, wasn't having a dig, just playing Devil's Advocate, so to speak.

Yeah I may be able to see it justifyable a few years from now but come on right out the gates fresh from the retail sale of $60 your gonna pay $200? That's just nuts IMO.

I think it's just people trying to get their copy now in case it actually goes up even higher in the future. Just a gamble they're willing to take.

It could very well go down from the $200 point once everyone willing to pay that much have their copies.

True and it's not like we have a track record to go by cuz aren't these like the first Kimchidvd Exclusives ever? I hope they do go down some day. I sure would love to get it lol

Such as? O Tangled is one right? And look at that, came back in stock months later lol for a few minutes lol but back in stock never the less.

I'm not saying they're as highly valued as Thor is or will be, I'm just saying that there were exclusives before this one:

Terminator 2
Le Grand Bleu
Monsters Inc
Monsters University
Leon
Tangled

I might be missing some, those were just the ones off the top of my head.

Hey Laz - this happens with retailers all the time. They do a warehouse check, the finally get in some returns - any number of things happen for a item to be restocked and then available again. Usually this is for a small amount - not a large number of copies.

The Korea wide version of Tangled was also offered for sale just recently on the Kimchi website, but those were not the lenticular or 1/4 slip versions exclusive to the Kimchi store.

If you'd like to talk about this more at length, you can move the conversation to the retailer thread we have for Kimchi.

Thanks
