Taken over Franchises except Pixar are not being given the true Disney treatment. No title, matte finishing and poor embossing may continue to become a norm.

Err, matte finish is already the norm for "true Disney" titles. Of the three released so far by Zavvi only 'Aladdin' is gloss, and it remains to be seen what sort of finish the forthcoming titles get.

I'd have thor + hammer + lightning +logo all glossy the backdrop a high quality textured matte. (if embossed just the logo) back would be either all glossy, or have just the silhouette's glossy

on a side note do any of the staff have any info on size of print run on this one as is in the limited edition mark?

I'm not staff, and I don't have numbers, but the print run must be huge. This has been in Zavvi's top sellers for weeks and there been no contact to say that the numbers are dwindling. This one is far from limited, in my opinion.
