I'd have liked this design more if his facial expression matched his pose. You don't jump through the air, about to bring a lightning infused stone hammer down on some poor fella with such a disinterested expression.

Amen to this x1000. I said the same thing in one of the other threads as soon as i saw this cover. What a stupid looking picture. He looks uncomfortable and bored. A bad combo. Zestys mock up is epic. It destroys this. Guess we'll have to see what blufans or kimchi can do.

Pretty sure it'll be the same artwork in all countries, so I'll wait for the french Auchan exclusive edition.

I liked the original art work but yeah this is better, gonna be the pose I use for the new Hot Toys figure as well

Avengers steelbook is very poor IMO thats way i chose Singapore ed. with embossed title . Looks much better than rest of them. On the end of day 99% of as gonna buy this steel because i just cant imagine phase 2 without Thor

Ok...for the longest time people have been advocating for clean artwork. Now they have given us that and along the way got rid of the title as well

Seriously though... these titleless Disney's are ANNOYING Going to this extreme with steelbooks is making me

I'm fine with a totally clean and free of title cover but I just don't care for this picture. I liked the first choice with the bright blue lightning...it just had more pop and the pose was not so goofy. If the thing / person Thor was about to clobber was in the pic as well it would not look nearly as silly.

I'm okay with the artwork and the price, as long as the 3D AND 2D discs are both region-free!!!

I had to double dip on the Wolverine and another recent movie when the 3D discs weren't region A compatible.

Only problem I have with the spine is they didn't do IM3 in the same style, now my collection is gonna look weird....

I quite like these title-less steels. I must admit though, I'm not a fan of the picture spines without a title (which is essential really, due to how the majority of people will store it).

If you want the title slapped on the front, get the amaray or keep the slip/j-card on. Studios should be encouraged to do more creative designs and some times removing the title makes sense and lets the art speak for itself.

Having said that, the title simply MUST be on there somewhere, ideally the spine. IMO of course.
