this is my plan aswel specially i don't steel book without title. I will order this few days before the release date. i don't care if its gonna be sold out then i should get this anywhere

It is what it is,some will like it and some won't - The USA and Canada probably won't even have a steelbook,so you take what you can get if you want the movie in your collection.

The Avengers was a high gloss Steelbook and that was Disney/Marvel.

With the spine also the same as The Avengers, fingers crossed this also has the same "gloss" finish.

Like the amaray? I cancelled and will just consider the amaray unless something about this release (inside art, back art, glossy, price) gives me a reason to grab this one. I spent $45 import the Italian Iron Man 3 and that steel is less than inspiring. It had potential but all these flat matte dull colored steels Disney is releasing are making me think twice about dropping $50 on a steel. I could have just gotten the Zavvi one last week when it was 15£ I think. I'll wait for that or pics.

I like it. Not great but also not worth cancelling.
The only thing I would say is that the costume looks painted and his face looks photoshopped in.

Also, no name on spine is a mistake but I don't mind the faces. Just doesn't match much else in that section on most of our shelfs. But Disney seem to have a problem with spines anyway. None of my Toy Story slipcases match. The BD logo isn't in a straight line etc.

I get the textless spines are a cost-cutting thing, but I refuse to believe Disney with their infinite number of tentacles in every pie can't hire a designer that can make it look not shoddy.

I'm not sure that I can grasp how textless spines cut costs.

I mean every mm needs to be printed so how does text cost more that an image?
