Wouldn't be the first time these companies have worked with Disney. Lone Ranger almost happened but got cancelled due to the film being crap/Bombed/Not suitable rather than a disagreement between companies.

I can always dream of a decent version from a small company like this, because it sure as hell isn't coming anywhere else. The Asian J cards might be nicer but it's still the same piece of junk underneath.

True, but Thor and Avengers in general is a massive franchise. I remember Kimchi trying to get something special done on Iron Man 3 but Disney said no.

Blank steelbooks are no longer sold by retailers and the only ones ever offered for sale were dvd size.

Some members here will purchase a cheap steelbook and spray paint over the design to then add their own custom sticker artwork.

Zesty is one of those members that has created some amazing designs of his own.

I made a Halloween and Friday the 13th Steelbook also. Gloss paint over cheap steelbooks (Sweeney Todd and Rambo Germany)

I think I'll keep my pre-order, at least, until another retailer offers better artwork.

As much as this design is a bit of a let down, I prefer to be consistent with the marvel movies and have them all as steelbook. Even going off by one movie would make my OCD boil...

For as much as people are complaining, we all know this will be in most collections If Thor Zavvi managed to sell out, this will follow suite. There have been worse steelbooks releases with even more awful art ( cough...pans labyrinth zavvi cough cough... ) Content is good so credit to Zavvi for that. The steel isn't that bad so will reserve judgement till first pics show up
