Zavvi will probably do another one in a couple of years anyway knowing them.

Yes, because they have a factory round the back where they make them on their own.

There's been complaining on both Marvels Facebook and Twitter, they don't even have the respect to answer. They couldn't care less! This will be £17 days after release.

And how would you answer it?
"Yeah, we knows it crap, but what ya gonna do?"

If they wanted to include Loki due to his popularity they why not put him on the back in the same style of artwork.
But to just double the spine artwork on the back seems a total lack of creativity. Looking at it I would rather see credits and have Disney say its in the contracts so we have to print them.

In case anyone's interested, I complained to Zavvi via Facebook PM and as a query against my pre-order and got responses for both complaints - see below:

Facebook:
Hello Brad,
Thanks for getting in touch.
I am very sorry that you feel this way, unfortuantely the design is agreed between our buyers and Marvel. However I will be more than happy to pass your feeback on.
Many thanks,

Via pre-order:

Yep I also had a reply back from Zavvi this afternoon

Via Facebook PM

"Hello David,

I will certainly pass this over to the relevant department and hopefully they get back to me with something to provide you with, although I can not guarantee this.

I am sorry again for the dissapointment.

Kind regards,

Tom"

The optimist in me thinks that if enough people emailed them to complain then it would prompt a change in the artwork!

The pessimist in me thinks profits beat customer service every time... :'(

I'm not going to be 'that guy' who says he would never have it in his collection but there is no way in hell I am paying day one full price for this mess. If I can score it for under a 10.00 I'll bite. If not my feelings won't be that butt hurt by missing out on this one.

Hopefully a better version will one day become available.

I think because it includes 3d you should atleast bump it to 15. It will be a looooooooooooooooooooooooooong time before this hits 10 just bc of 3D

Nope. I have drawn my line in the sand and won't budge on this one. I don't necessarily need a sealed copy so I think eventually I might get it at a price I'm willing to pay.

What they should have done is stick with the placeholder artwork, and then used a full size version of the Natalie Portman pic. I think it would work a lot better than this. As it is, the 3d amaray has the original art on the slipcover.

To be fair the amaray 3D bluray is gonna cose around £19, so an extra £6 for this is not really that big deal. Its just the crummy artwork on the back and the spine that ruins it.

I will be sticking with my order for this one.

As thewoe said. For the 3d amaray we are looking at round about the £20 mark so for a couple of quid extra (discount) i cant complain really.

I also really want to keep on going with the Marvel steelbooks.

Each to their own i suppose.

i will be honestly surprised if it makes any difference how many people complain about it, personally don't mind the cover myself just don't like the lack of title on the spine

back is horrible..totally wasted the space. they just plastered the characters pictures. very disappointed. hope another release will save the steelbook for this movie.
