At least that's how I see it. Maybe this'll be the trend for future Disney releases? Or maybe they just made an exception with Thor? Guess we'll find out soon enough when/if BB and FS pick up Frozen.

Yes, but Zavvi haven't confirmed anything. Or have they? Is it possible their titleless stock images could change?

It was in response to the quote above. where he didn't think the FS edition could be any different than the Zavvi edition and it is different. Sorry for the confusion.

It's hard to know wether to cancel this or not. Both are released within a day of each other. So If I don't cancel this, it will have shipped before I get to see pictures of the U.S. release.

I wonder how people would feel if:
The U.S release was matte and debossed, but the Zavvi/European release was glossy???

Pardon my ignorance, but is the artwork for each Steelbook actually printed at Scanavo or do they only manufacture the cases and the artwork is printed somewhere else?

Surely somebody somewhere must know what they look like before they hit the shelves??

Marvel UK/Ireland Facebook page official reply from Marvel says its a matte Steelbook and Photos displayed is what Zavvi have

Well not quite, steel 30$+ shipping ~15$ + 3$ packaging + 1$ HDN fee = 49$ *1,04 (PP fee) 50,96$ which are around 30,7 Pound but Paypal got only bad conversion rates so it will be around 32 Pounds.

Why would Best Buy get a different steel to Zavvi now that they no longer do the disk free metal Paks? If this is an identical worldwide release why would Disney make the US Version different yet ignore all the pleas to change the design of the UK one? Sorry if I'm just coming off as stupid? The obvious answer is because different people are responsible in each region.

It's also not an identical release. One has a debossed title on the front and title on the spine and the other one has no title on the front and no title on the spine.

I want to cancel my zavvi order but my dilemma is that I have used a discount code (£5 off £50 spend) and another item in the order is now out of stock (101 Dalmatians) . If I contact zavvi and wish to cancel it will they cancel my other item from the order or not let me cancel at all.

This was my concern also and I was prepared to lose the Dalmatians order just because of how bad Thor looks. But luckily Zavvi only cancelled Thor and left my Dalmatians order there, which was good of them.

If you go via the 'Query' route and select to cancel ONE item from the order, I selected 'Amendment required' in the next drop down box. This should work, at least it did for me.

Fortunate to have all the play and HMV releases, so I want the best release possible to go with them.
