i know you're god like so could you tell us how many steels each country got ?

2,500 each ?

far from that, and I couldnt say those #s if I knew for this run; which I dont. Thing is, I know a good bit of #s for Smurfs and how some of those got broke down. Tin Tin is much more popular so I have a good guess based on knowledge of Smurfs that it's got a lot more qty. The steel is the same for most all Countries. Notice the overlay and the spine which closely even resembles the Smurfs. Should look nice sitting next to that one on the shelf.

Last I'll say .... We all know Smurfs got 1500 in Italy, and that wasn't the only Country to get just that much. (I cant say the other Country, so folks please don't ask) Point being, I think that would be the smallest qty of Tin Tin if a Country like Italy got on board ... Overall, big print run for shared steel ; just like upcoming "Girl with Dragon Tattoo" - A store exclusive or the edition with dog from Germany might have the smallest qty in that regard (for tin tin)

Well my french buddy picked up some copies today and he said the store received 71 copies. Not the same city but still, 25 seems like a very small number.
I didn't ask how many copies the store received but it was quite difficult to find the Steelbook edition, in the store. On the "cultural" part, on the DVD/Blu-Ray section of the store, there was no Steelbooks, only lot of Amarays. I ask a seller, and he show me a little Tintin stand in the middle of the central hallway, and there were only 25 Steelbooks in the middle of maybe 100 Amarays (DVD, BD and BD3D).

french limited Uber rare edition for the win :hilarious: :scat:

The french Steelbook is really limited, it seems it's not a lie, because I went to the nearest Auchan today after work. Well no Tintin Steelbook left, only Amaray cases for 2D and 3D version. One of the employees told me he's not sure they will re stock again.:(
I guess I must go with the belgium edition....
