just got mine in the post, admit i was worried when i saw the pictures. But like anyone who had already got their copy I must say it's a beauty. The silver border is just clean unprinted polished steel,title on front is embossed on looks stunning, unfortunatly the back title isn't embossed but still stunning.

these pics dont come close to showing how amazing this thing looks, and the contrast between the matte backdrop and the gloss transformer head/logo is fantastic. I think this will go out of stock the moment collectors like you good folk get a good look at the steelbook. Gonna order a few extra myself.

I forgot to mention that I admire blu color on helmet on front of SB and red,evil eye on the back. I dont now if anybody else noticed that, but its gorgeous! I've got only one complain about this SB and its spine. Dont you think it would be better if letters would be bigger and more space between them like on Prometheus SB? Well I guess we cant have everything,can we?

I know, don't think anyone who isn't a collector understands the appeal but I feel the same way about slip covers? Unless they're extra special like the Futureshop Woman in Black lenticular sleeve

Embossed title the head are shiny gloss the spine is white gloss. I love it.

Not impressed. Just had a knock on the door and it was my delivery off play for this,watchmen and war of the worlds. the other 2 are mint no paint chips as reported by some others. but transformers has a dent in the side. There was no damage the the box so must have been damaged before being sent. Gutted as Transformers was the one I wanted the most. Goto wait for an email for the courier to collect and take it back now!

The glossy look matches the ROTF (FS) and DOTM steelbooks. I'll just have to replace it with a two disc tray to hold the extra disc.
