I'm a 3D fan but since I keep then sealed it doesn't matter the content inside (2D/3D/empty case/scratch disc).. I remove the stickers as they're advertise most of the time and will leave marks in time.

SteelBooks collector's collects SteelBook, anything else is extras.
I gave up the chase for 3D SteelBook, if I can get fine, if not go for the 2D.
In Portugal we have 2D: Transformers 3, Captain America SteelBook. So getting the 3D means double dip (and pay more money to import the 3D release) and with so many SB release better save some money.

The goal would be to get the cheapest release (with english cover preferable)

You have your own ways of collecting things...and so does many of us. There is no right or wrong standard of collecting things.... My personal goal is to buy the best edition out there, it doesn't matter about the price. And the best edition (to me) is the one with 3D, inside artwork, most discs, embossed, etc... :)

I'm one of those collectors who is willing to pay $300 or more for 1 single steelbook :)

I'm not a fan of 3D, but I definitely agree with this. Gotta get the best edition available.

I'm into 3D, and this edition is the best in my opinion. I have never sat down and watch any bonus features for any movies...so I don't care for those extras. Some care for the best audio, some care for their subtitle, etc. Having a unique and only lenticular cover for the first ever steelbook is very nice in my collection. Once again, my opinion and liking :)

It's very subjective. Anyhow...

I loved the fact that this one came with the slip, even though I already have the 3D+Steelbook version of it I had to have this in my collection as it does stand out, I don't care much about 3D but I don't mind it as a bonus, also I love watching extras on certain films, watched the extra features of this on Saturday, always eager to find out how they came up with things etc, for me the more I get for my hard-earned-cash (3D/Extras/Slipcover/EmbossedFreebies postcards etc) the merrier :scat:

I just got off the phone and the CS in Hong Kong said they did not ship me the item all their stock is damaged. I then asked why everyone else received their copies with no problem but mine is delayed, and they said it was because I returned something before.

I asked if the new batch will still come with the lenticular slipcover and she said no, so I just cancelled my order. Horrible, horrible customer service, no apology or anything. I just e-mailed them about the 'blacklist' that I think I am on now, really would suck if they will never ship me another Steelbook again because of my one return.

EDIT: Anyone got 1 or 2 extra copies to spare? I won't be able to get this from HMV HK directly unfortunately. :/

Sorry about that Leshita, that is indeed horrible from them to act like that, very strange to black list you just because you got a defected/damaged item, man where did the customers right go???

Better off without them and maybe find it from a member on here, good luck L

Sorry about that Leshita, i have traded few copies to some members here, maybe one of them could help you with an extra copy (try to contact Hubmuswell).
Unfortunetly, i'm not able to help anymore with this one as there is no more stock in-store in HMV HK.

I do not see this steelbook release from Singapore retails store.
But I do find lots of store in hong kong still have stocks.
Just walked into a shops around Mongkok and every retailer have plenty of them in stocks. So I just guess hmv(HK) still have plenty of them.

Does anyone know if this title is ava in singapore ?

because my son is working out there and i'll get him to pop into a hmv for me
