I do not see this steelbook release from Singapore retails store.
But I do find lots of store in hong kong still have stocks.
Just walked into a shops around Mongkok and every retailer have plenty of them in stocks. So I just guess hmv(HK) still have plenty of them.

There are total 6 HMV stores in HK and at least 3 of them doesn't have stock at all.
2 local stores in Causeway bay no stock. I really want take at look at the Mongkok local shops to see it there is really plenty of them.

That's great news! After all that stuff you went through with the post office I'm glad everything worked out. Don't forget to post pics!

Yeah, my mailman (who is a good guy) signed my name and left it at the wrong address. If he had signed it but left it at the correct address all would have been fine but if your gonna sign my name make sure not to make any misteaks

Honestly I didn't think the packaging was that shoddy. It came undented and it was bubble wrapped then had cardboard taped over that and stuffed in a jiffy bag.

Even though he's a good guy, I don't think it's right for him to sign for your package. I'm sure the Post Office is against the rule of him from signing a customer package. To protect himself, you should tell him never to sign a customer package again. What if a different customer didn't appreciate him signing it for him...then he could have reported him to the office and the office might discipline him.

Anyhow, that's good to hear about the excellent news.

I like hmv.hk packaging 100x better than hmv.com.

They told me he will be reprimanded and they are against him signing for the package, cause if they couldn't recoup the item they would have had to pay me for the value of the item. It was completely wrong of him to sign my name and look at all of the confusion it caused but in the end I got my item and that is what matters. Lets put it this way I doubt he will be doing that again. If an item doesn't require a signature he can just leave it without getting in trouble and if it does he can either wait to deliver or leave it with a neihgbor.

I've yet to get anything from hmv.com but I have no complaints whatsoever with hmv.hk. They seem to know the value of a steelbook or at least how crazy steelbook collectors can get. Except for Leshita who they seem to have blacklisted :(

But back on topic, I really want to keep it sealed but that means always seeing the lenticular cover and never the actual steelbook. Like wrapping a ferrari inside a pinto, although the lenticular cover is kind of nice so maybe more like a ferrari inside a TT :D

Not only is tampering with the mail a federal offense but so is forgery. He could have gotten his entire post office branch in a whole slew of trouble. If he's being reprimanded then he's real lucky because that sort of bad actions could have led to his termination. Glad you recovered your steelie and that it was in very good condition to boot. :D

I was there actually hunting for my SACD and didn't expect to see any of them, but I saw them on display shelves, so I asked the sales assistance. "How many do you have?" She point me to her shelves behind and asked me back, "How many copies you need ?" :hilarious:

You can walk into Win Win CD shop and "Women Street".
Wide sight at "Sai Yeong Choi" street,
The Beat Records store, all of them have stocks. ;)
I was there on 17-03-2012, 16:30hrs and all of them have plenty.

I didn't expect the local stores have this version , though it was exclusive to HMV HK and in HMV i'm sure there is no more stock. But thank you for sharing the local stores names ;), i will go there even i hate mongkok as it is crowded place:twisted:

I remember Causeway Bay area, behind Sogo also have Wide Sight store, why not try there first ? I would suspect they still have plenty of them. :D

This one is close, went twice this week and i think they close permantly (or moved). But already checked this one before and they had no stock, but i did found my lion king 3D over there.:D

I finally got a copy through a trade. Love the feel of the whole package. They need to make more steels with lenticular slip covers imo.

Till today at this hour, my friend still able to grab a copy of this on the street. ;)
Advise him to grab a few more and trade for others titles. :D

He just got hook to steelbook and I guess he still has a long way to go.. :hilarious:

Poor guy! Haha but yes, seems everyone wants this. I must admit it looks great next to the ROTF FS!!

It's a nice slip with the steelbook and all that but it lacks the 3rd BD disc with the extra features, I guess not everyone is aware of that, R U?? ;)
