I like all 3 of them too.

I enjoy watching awesome CGI effects with robots fighting each other...with dts-hd audio.

I don't need a plot...give me 2 hours of robots and no human and i'm in heaven :) Humans talk tooo much :hilarious:

i actually think all 3 films are good, dont no why people dont really like them.

I think the first one was brilliant. Not a big fan of the second or third. The potential was there for the third to be brilliant with the storyline.

Personally I own the German first release of transformers, the FS edition of the second, and have the MM version of the third film on the way, courtesy of Master Blaster John! :scat:

... so long as theres no singing and dancing eh Mayflower? lol :hilarious:

The movie was awful, IMO. Didn't matter to me, back when I purchased more Steelbooks than I do now (even if the movie was bad!). I don't do that now because I was amassing a Steel junkjard with a bunch of crap (imo) movies. But I don't regret getting this one-the case is AWESOME! :scat:

This beauty is a MUST Biscuit! You need to place it next to the 3rd.

And YEAH, the movies (2-3) are pure crap but the steels are just too awesome.

Oh and BTW, since when do you care about actual movie INSIDE the steel? :hilarious:

Well for this one I do, because the movie is actually NOT inside of it, which doesn't make sens especially for a premium price :D

Yep, not inside because of a timing issue of production of Steel and BD, to meet street date-they were shipped separately for resale by FS. The art, and fact that it's OOP, along with the presence of the 3rd film release in the marketing realm, is definitely driving continued excitement for this. Empty of not, it ticks all of the boxes for most SB collectors:)

Is this the only Futureshop Blu-Ray steelbook that doesnt come with a movie inside? a same promo that they used to do back in the DVD Steelbook days?

I think the 'Twilight/Twilight New Moon' double pack had a free empty 'Twilight Steelbook' which was empty, packed with the 'New Moon' Steelbook, which did have a movie inside.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as blu ray movie steelbooks go, I think this was the only FS empty steelbook. Paramount had issues with producing the BD and they couldn't package the BD and the Steelbook together by the street date, so the steelbook was provided free with the purchase of the movie.

Edit: Per DB's post above, it wasn't the only empty one ;)

But Twilight New Moon comes with a movie and they are packaged as one?

Transformers is separate and on its own.

P.S. The Harry Potter Shelf - is not a steelbook (if anyone would raise that)

Yes- you got the New Moon with disc and Twilight was empty. All shrinked together.

Future Shop assumed that if you were a fan, and it already had been a year between releases, you already had the first movie and were unlikely to need to purchase it again.

Winner, winner chicken dinner! :scat:

That is so weird. I wonder if someone somewhere in designing these planned that or it's just a coincidence. For you to have two sets and them being steelbooks, the odds have to be pretty high on that. ...but then this set both being in the Transformers line up makes it more probable. EEK! In any case May, nice set you have there.
