I'm gonna start something see if you guys like it. I'll ask a random trivia question every day (unless im gone) and I'll keep track of who gets the most right. If this becomes something people like, I'll try and keep it going past the summer.

We'll have to work on the honor system here, since the internet has just about every answer out there. If you don't know it, please don't look it up and then post the answer.

I'm going to post these at random times too, otherwise some people might not ever get a chance to answer a question if they are busy same time every day.

I'll keep a running tab of points here. First person to get it right wins the point for the day. Only one guess per person per day.

I like the idea, keep er coming.

i think what ill do is wait till later in the day to say who got the right answer. that way multiple people can have a whack at it. and ill try and find questions that are harder to search for on the internet. todays was just a warm up! its gonna get harder folks

Question 2

Question 2

One of the most common North American birds is the American Robin. How do you tell the difference between the male and female robin?

The male is black with a bit of red on it ... not much.

I know because at my last terminal I was painting by some robin's nests and I kid you not the thing was like a lion ... he would literally fly at me and take swoops for my face ...

I was so pissed ... happened 3 days in a row ... I wanted to kill it so bad but couldnt use any type of gun around the area(even bb gun for that matter)

So I have had two close answers, but not what i was looking for. ill give another hour or so then call it!

Alright. So we had a couple of close calls. mac was very close except its the opposite, and i think wreck was on the right track too but didnt quite get there.

The difference between a male and a female american robin is that the male has a redder chest, and the female has an orange-red chest. i got this info from a birds of wisconsin book my parents had up at our cabin.

since no one got it, no points for today :(

another interesting/funny fact i read is that the latin name for the robin is turdus migratorious :hilarious:
