I think the matte finish really fits in with the vintage of the movie. Really like the inside art and back cover.

It reminds me of an item that's been on display for years in a shop window and as a result, all the color has faded away

Gloss would have made this insanely spectacular, but even as is, it's the best of this wave. Super minor quibble... not a big deal, but it is a bit strange they used the same image from the front on the inside right side, but I still think it looks really great.

Who would have guessed the 1982 Tron steelbook would look a million times better than The Little Mermaid?

Tron is winner for this round from Zavvi.

Zavvi always release same pattern like dull matte finish and embossed

I don't know what pics you guys are looking at, but this doesn't look dull on my screen. Maybe my contrast is off? Gloss is usually better, but a nice matte is possible. I'll be anticipating getting this in hand to see it up close, but at this point, I think the colors/artwork is very nicely done.

In fact, look at the mockup compared to actual pics. Actual steelbook looks better this time.
