Well, I was able to get a copy for Surf. It must look better out of the shrinkwrap. Because I thought it was very dull when I picked it up.

Ricker, I have no interest in this, as it's a G1, but the pics in OP (out of wrap), are very good looking, for sure.

The shrinkwrap is the culprit as it reflects light away from the steelbook masking the true beauty beneath it. It is even more dramatic if the steelbook has a glossy finish like this one. Disney steelbooks like A Bug's Life and Wall-E, Smurfs, and the Japanese Chronicles of Narnia all suffer from this disillusionment. It is literally a "night and day" transformation especially if you display your steelbooks.

This is one messed up steelbook collection. The only steelbooks that match are "New Moon" and "Breaking Dawn"
I hope they come out with part 2 that matches. Maybe a steelbook that has all 5 movies in it.

Is there still really any demand for this steelbook?

I may attempt to pick up a copy or copies if it would be worth while; do you all think they'd be movable? I wouldn't want to get stuck with a bunch of copies of twilight :hilarious:

how are you gonna pick them up ? they been sold out since release day

bestbuy "says" there are copies available in store at certain locations, so we'll see.. who knows if it's really accurate or not

you aren't gonna find any copies in-store but i guess its possible more then likely the copies will trashed though.

and they're selling for about $50-$60 if you cant find one in-store

Hey Slim-good luck with the search. BB's inventory system is not always 100% accurate in reflecting what's in store, but people have also found items that show as 'unavailable' because of the threshold used to report.

There is still hope! I just went to my BB and checked the front display and found nothing....then went to the regular Blu-ray aisle and about crapped my pants when I saw one sitting on the shelf. Last one...perfect condition.:scat:

darn, I was hiding it so that I can pick it up later :D
