I know on the PS3 there is a way to turn the 3D "off" so you can view a 3D blu ray in 2D, that said i've never tried to do it.

If you got the US release of the journey to the center of the earth. When you pit the disc you can chose w/c one you like the 2d or 3d version. I hope the future shop is like this so its worth it to buy. Especially i dont player to use for 3d disc

Can't see any sign of extras on the listing for this so there should be enough space on the disc to have both versions of the film.

Otherwise they'll be alienating a lot of people who don't have 3D capability.

Yeah, I have 2 discs that are this way (3Musketeers & Sex and Zen.) Unfortunately, they don't play smoothly on my Isignia player, that is why I'm hoping there are 2 discs (2D & 3D).

There's no danger of me cancelling my order as I keep mine sealed anyway. So a nice little bonus if it works out cheaper Cheers Biscuit for sorting the GB

I am surprised that they would restrict the steels to 3D version only, definitely alienates a fair few customers.

If it's one disc it will 3D & 2D on one disc. Hugo was the same.

I hope that it's two separate discs, one for the 3D and one for the 2D version. That's just how I like them. I can't say that I've had a single disc that had both formats on it but I can see where it might cause issues. This is where a firmware upgrade would likely be necessary for the disc to function properly. I wonder how many different movies have it like that? As for the 3D, can't wait to put it in my Oppo-93 player and give it a play. I'm having Kate withdraws.

I think if this steelbook end up for just 1 disc. I will bet you view the film in 3d and 2d version. Defenitely i will buy this cause i like future shop steelbook clean and with inside artwork.

I hope so... So i can keep my future shop exclusive sealed and open the UK, German or even french version. Damn i love underworld film and my only question is i hope the french version is G2

In the UK New Line titles generally get released by EIV, rather than Warners or Sony, and unfortunately they don't tend to release Steelbooks. But we can live in hope!

Generally 2D movies go down to the 22-25 range, but I am not sure about 3D releases.
