Still no sign of mine yet :ohno: day 2 with RM playing football with my package or the postman probably delivered it to someone else which he is known to do

mine hasn't bloody arrived yet:angry:

Well may be a good sign that they waited to include the proper packaging, the A1 mailer is a complete disgrace. Three days for me have passed now, I got in on this one later on, of course I may have a damaged or banana steelbook as well.

I feel for collectors that got damaged steelbooks, I doubt Zavvi hold stock for such incidents. Zavvi are lucky to still have buyers the way they can be incompetent at times.

I thought mine was damaged till I opened it up and saw it was like plastic which I thought was scratches. A nice steelbook overall and unlucky to the people who received damaged copies.

Surprise surprise, arrived earlier today in a cardboard envelope. Thankfully I don't have lino flooring near the letterbox. It looks nice, but not too happy with the blemishes on top corner and a slight paint chip near the spine. Have emailed Zavvi about it. It's been forever since I received a truly mint steelbook from Zavvi.

received three steelbooks from zavvi today which were all despatched on the same day ...

E.T. and The A-Team turned up in the usual white boxes but V for Vendetta arrived in a cardboard mailer :hilarious:

looks to have survived the long trip to Belgium but haven't opened it yet so don't know what's behind the J-card :ohno:

ordered two copies but no sign of the second copy yet

This is why I was wondering if a major bunch of Vs were shipped from a different warehouse.

Zavvi have authorised my return no questions (not even a suggestion of a partial refund) and no request for pictures which is a pleasant surprise. Now to convince them that they owe some kind of compensation for the hassle and cost of sourcing a copy elsewhere.

Didn't think they would ask for photos, they know they have really screwed up. Be interesting to know if the admin here have heard from Zavvi yet on this colossal disaster.

Zavvi need to seriously make a public apology.

I wish. I now always sent pics with any messages sent to them. Shaves a further two day delay when the get back and ask for them anyway.

The dented one, I got a returns label. Not an apology, but that they would refer my packing concerns to the operations team.

Other copy with scratches - " please can you highlight the damage on the photo sent, I can't make anything out"

Here's a clue, it's a BLACK glossy steelbook. Right, well, look for the GREY lines. Not unless this is a pin stripe ultra ultra ultra limited print run

What a strange company.

Can anyone confirm if foam is included in these steelbook packets or if it is just a brown envelope?

they may as well stick the postage stamp directly on the steelbook and send it naked. the cardboard envelope offers little protection. the steel might be protected from scratching, but will be totally vulnerable to denting/bending.
