Honestly, why the hurry? They forwarded the release date assuming they couldn't wait to take our money. I guess that has backfired now. Maybe Zavvi could've emailed notifying the lack of boxes asking us to be patient and wait until they receive some sturdy packaging? How many times has this happened this year? Too many. Ordered 2 one came with a dent in cause of the lack of a padded box
The other luckily was ok..
I shouldnt have to order 2 or 3 of something just to make sure i get 1 thats ok..
Sayin all that the Steelbook is very nice..

Yet another reason why I stopped ordering from zavvi a long time ago. They couldn't give a sh** about customer service and collectors. Just how quickly they can make a buck. This prooves it!

Imagine if the logic of buying steels from zavvi were applied elsewhere...

Ugh my copy only shipped Friday so i'm expecting it tomorrow... but I am dreading it now. So many damaged steels... especially as so far, all my Zavvi steels have arrived in their usual white box. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed this arrives OK!

Worst packaging I've ever had from Zavvi - it looked like it had been thrown around - luckily the Steelbook was intact. If this is the standard of the send-outs now they're gonna have a lot of returns

I think they will of wanted 2500 x £ 14.99's in their bank account. rather than delay.

Well I'm not getting mine today apparently... So that's another day of waiting to find out if I am fortunate enough to get a mint copy..

Only ordered one copy, as I really can't afford to buy two of everything to ensure one is mint (not that it seems to have helped people on this run due to the shoddy packaging).

It came in the crappy brown mailer but was mercifully undamaged. I have no idea why Zavvi would send out so many steels in those boxes when they must know that a good chunk of them will be sent back and they'll be forced to issue a refund. With it being a limited run they can't replace them either - and I guess that makes this EVEN more limited now, as it seems like hundreds have been damaged beyond use.

So for the cost of some decent boxes/packaging Zavvi have lost out on a ton of money. It just doesn't make sense.

Anyway, the steel itself is great in hand and at £14.99 was one of the better buys of the ultra limited range. Might have to go back and cancel the £17.99 ones now (that are still in stock anyway) as I think for catalogue releases the original price run was ideal.

Well if loads get sent back, someone is in for a but kicking, you would think the home of steelbookz would package these things a bit better. To run out of packaging is a bit of a blunder when you know there is 2500 steels waiting to go.

With the looks of how things are shipping, and the 2.5k print, these might be a new grail if you can get one that's not damaged by flimsy shipping.

This has the to be the biggest mistakes ever, 2,5k print-run and then they send them in those garbage cardboard mailers, someone needs to be fired.

E.T. and The A-Team turned up in the usual white boxes but V for Vendetta arrived in a cardboard mailer

looks to have survived the long trip to Belgium but haven't opened it yet so don't know what's behind the J-card

ordered two copies but no sign of the second copy yet
