I had to cancel this

.
I ordered it the first place because I'm a sheep following a very excited herd, and I wanted to have time to make up my mind about this, so getting a pre-order in the short window available to order it was necessary.
And now, I'm realizing that I'm not willing to double-dip. I have the US Warner one and yes, it has a lacklustre finish, but the propaganda-style art is awesome, and as much as I love the film and the comic-book, I know I so badly need to be selective in my purchases.
Because when you feel like this
(imagine this is a stack of poorly organized steelbooks) :
It's time to stop. I've gotten complaints from my relatives who don't get it (and I don't blame them), I'm thinking about what to cut back on in order to keep ordering steelbooks... it's taken its toll, really. I bought 215 steelbooks over the past 16 months, it cost me nearly €4400.
So
V For Vendetta has to go, and I hope a Ninja who missed out on it will get it once Zavvi takes all the cancellations into account

.
The worst part is this feeling of missing out, and it's especially true for collections. That's why I feel the need to keep my pre-orders for
Alice in Wonderland and
Robin Hood (completing the Disney Collection) and
Captain America 2 (completing the Marvel collection without paying horrendous Asian prices - though I'm sadly drawn to Kimchi's
Iron Man, a film I don't have in steelbook or on Blu-ray yet).
I'm on the fence with
Beetlejuice and
Mars Attack, I'll probably keep only one of them — now would be a good time to watch those two films for the first time and decide

.
Sadly, I'll probably end up keeing my pre-orders for
Swingers &
I Saw the Devil (I remember it was one of my favorite films of 2011). And when
La Haine (I'm all for French films in steelbooks),
Scream &
Clerks go live, I'll be all over them, same for the cancellations of
3:10 to Yuma, however scarce they'll be. That's still 10 steelbooks out of the 23 upcoming releases Zavvi has announced, but you can't just quit cold turkey, can you? :tear:
