Folks, some of the info posted here in regards to spam measures is completely incorrect-please do not contribute to spreading false info here. We are fully aware that as the site has grown, and as group buys and other features have become very popular at HDN, that spammers also come and disrupt the community. Without knowing how many irrelevant spammy posts are removed, members contacted, or removed, please don't post accusations. The release threads have nothing to do with this, and responding to spammers with more posts, or discussing interpretations hypothetical situations of site measures that you think are in place, does not help at all, as all facts are not public. The latter is to protect the community and prevent spammers from littering the forum with more nonsensical posts-no site makes public all policies in place to curb such nonsense. The most helpful thing you can actually do to help us, you and fellow members is hit the report button under a spammers name, for these silly posts so one of our Section Supervisors can see and address the issue.
