Obviously some people might turn their noses up at you when you, a new member trying to engage in one of their conversations. Personally, I couldn't give a rats behind what people think, that 'register' link isn't there for nothing you know It's like being the new kid, walking in on a class room full of people who don't know you. You just learn to adapt, I've been using HDN for far longer than my sign up date. I just didn't think I could bring anything new to the table so I didn't bother signing up until earlier this year.

If it has an embossed title, does that mean it'll have a frame? I don't think I've ever seen embossing without one.

Embossing requires a frame, debossing is the only thing they would without a frame.

Embossing without a frame cause it to not stack well in shelves (see the complete Friday 13th metal tin)

It would be a fair assessment last year but things have changed and a big announcement is coming and when people see what it is I think it will be understood why the last sentence in your post isn't valid.

It's not spam, off topic certainly, but not spam. Yes there are bigger things to worry about, but that could also apply to the hobby itself

Wow. I thought there must have been some news or a change in release date with all these posts jumping this thread to the top...

In regards to the embossing/border... something I noticed on the Aviator release that may apply here:

The mockup for that title didn't show the entire image; it was cropped to the section inside the border. When mine arrived and I saw it in hand, I realized that the entire border on the product was excluded from the mockup.

Perhaps it's the same with this release. IOW, maybe we don't need to worry about a border encroaching on the artwork (particularly near the top), or them canceling the embossing, because the actual artwork will encompass more than what is shown?

Just speculatin'...

just a small FYI ... GB forum is now 20 posts to get in (for steels) and also it takes 15 posts to even reply in MAIN (this one) steelbook forum. That should cut down immensely on spam posts that have bothered anyone in this popular board.

But you still may see some of the short answered posts in less active areas ... ie. general chat etc.

I had two on order and had to do a query to cancel an item for my order, but Zavvi cancelled both of them on me! This one out of the few upcoming Zavvi limited steels I was actually looking forward to.

Had that happen to one of my orders as well (twice), cust. service didn't help, since then I stopped buying zavvi.

Still curious though to see how good this actually will look like in hand.

I'm not even going to try writing them. I don't want to detract the thread but such a bad online customer management system they have. Anyway, the way I'm looking at it is, more money in my pocket

Already have the Canadian and US steelbook for this, BUT, this one will probably be the best.

If you ordered this and then canceled it (for whatever reason) please don't then say "I hope a fellow Ninja gets it!". This doesn't mean for this steelbook only.

How about you still buy it and sell it on this forum? I'm pretty sure that guarantees a ninja gets it.

I see it on a lot of threads. I'm not saying I know everyones money situation when they all get excited about the latest release and jump all other the preorder but come on.
