Update to Zavvi delaying tactics # 77 - finally received a reply for my Monday enquiry - about my 2 bent double vendetta & Toy Story steelbooks I received on Saturday bear in mind that this letter was sent to my email address :-

I had the same on mine. I thought it was just a slash in the wrap but when I took the wrap off and had a proper look at it, there was a definite slash.

Yesterday I received from Zavvi in cardboard sleeve and not in a box as usual.
Now have to find another copy for my collection. Very upset because of the damage, as I liked this steelbook.

I got lucky today with my steelbook, I opened it already, no damages. Also had the horrible A1 Mailer, looks like the steelbook had a near miss too. Amazon did this to me for a new release as well, I wonder if they ran out of normal packaging too.

We had confirmation Zavvi ran out of boxes on Sunday from digitalbabe, I hope we never have to endure this incompetent hit and miss delivery again.

That's the 2nd time in 2 pages he's peddled that myth, and the 2nd time in 2 pages he's been corrected.

Ok, I think I got my months mixed up on the retailer section, I think I'm done ordering from Zavvi if this is the new packaging, disgusting service from Zavvi, good way to lose customers, well done Zavvi.

After a better inspection looks like it's only on the wrap, but they tried to slash it, they tried grrrrrrrr!!!

Geez, I hope that isn't their new packaging as it's a step in the wrong direction. I'm a bit worried now to say the least after receiving their latest email about running out of foam.

Try a decent box for starters. I'd rather them wrap my steels in Andrex toilet paper, it probably offers more protection than that bloomin' 'foam'.
