My Canadian copy looks identical, except for the sticker and barcode. NO FRENCH ON INSERT!

Here are the pics.

Note that this thing is REALLY impressive in person - has some nice glossy highlight effect on the ship and "V". Also, on the back, Morena's reptile eye has the same effect - makes it stand out quite a bit.

Just like the mockup Wreck showed us a while back.

Thanx for posting the pix Andy! It indeed looks very nice in person. I went to Best Buy and luckily I went when they opened and got the only 2 mint copies they had. I went over to customer service and they hadn't even pulled my pre-order even though they emailed me that it was in hold In the end I got a copy or my friend Il Fuiano, so all is good in the world, and indeed this thing us rare. The third copy I felt bad for because it was literally smashed I hope it gets to go to SteelBook heaven

Just picked up my copy today at my local FS and got the last copy. Plenty of the DVD steelbooks but the Blu-rays went fast.

They had pulled the standard bluray copy for mine even though I did In-Store pickup over 2 weeks ago for this item. I luckily got the LAST copy they had so all was well. It really is a nice set.

I picked up my 2 from best buy today, i have one available for trade if anybody is looking for one. I don't see any damage on the steelbook.

I got my confirmation email from best buy a day or so ago saying this was all ready to pick up, went in after work and before going to customer service I went over to the blu Ray section since it showed unavailable at that store online. There was one copy left hidden behind the rest so I nabbed it and was planning to buy two. Apparently that was my copy the lady told me. It was the last one in the store, glad to see that they pulled it aside for me like the email stated. I told her it was a good thing there was a neon sign up on the shelf telling everyone else it was my copy and was just there for looks

Because Canada and US shared the print run of steelbooks and the US is generally considered the bigger "consumer" market.

Because it is cold up in Canada and that causes shrinkage

Yes, G2 for Blu-Ray release here and G1 for DVD release in the States. Same as Canada releases.

This is one of the best looking Steelbooks. Have mine, and it's gorgeous. Love the color accents (reminds me of German Book of Eli and Spanish New Moon). Very nice....
