Same official mock up done for Clash of the Titans, which we all know became a steel and looked just like it. Will V The Complete First Season be next? EEK! (more pics at link, too late for me to post them all right now)

Done:) Thanks for posting-odd they'd sell this at the same price. I think when they had the "Metal Slipcovers" for Sarah Connor (different from the packaging for the "V" series), it was priced much higher. Oh well, order in:)

Juan told us that the retail price was supposed to be 39.99, so I'd agree - it is odd that they priced it the same as the regular blu edition.

Might be a mistake, but I won't complain. :oohyeah:

For a 12 episode show I still think its priced a bit high especially with it being from a major network like ABC versus something like Showtime or HBO. Either way I've got my pre-order in :)

Is this available on any online stores that ship to the UK, would like this only watched the first episode last week and thought it was ok, not great but ok lol

Also consider that the major network (ABC) just dropped their season 2 order to 10 episodes. :(

I wouldn't say V was a good show it was just ok. Wasn't a show I was looking forwards to every week. Plus it came after Lost so its hard to compete with a show like that.

No, V is not a stellar show, but it is a good show, but unfortunately does not appeal to the masses which ultimately means it will be cancelled in fairly short order. similar to Sarah Connor Chronicles.

I agree that it is hard to follow Lost, but they are completely different genre of shows and are like apples and oranges to each other so comparison is not really fair.

I just really like shows like V as they are different to the norm of the day

Cheers

Gotta agree LOST cannot be compared to V, also starting to get really annoyed with shows being dropped without having an ending

Sarah Connor Chronicles, 4400, Flash Forward and now I hear V could be getting dropped, shame really as like I said before only actually watched one episode of V and thought it was worth continuing to watch the rest now i'm not so sure

It just seems as if all the networks are looking for nowdays are the ratings busting shows and that is all.

I had previously read in numerous articles that the Battlestar Galactica remake/reboot would not have made it past the first season if it was on a standard network. Thankfully it was on a network that does not base its programming decisions solely on ratings

If V does get cancelled, SYFY should definately pick it up. I really hope it lasts. Some shows don't make it due to trying to compete ratings wise with things no show should.
