I've always wanted to try to gloss my own steels. Is it really that simple?

Not sure lol. Just ordered the gloss and spray gun off amazon so I'll find out how simple it is when I gloss this steel.

Whoa, I don't think this should be the first steel you attempt to gloss. Just like adding inside art work/tearing apart a steel, you need practice. Practice on damaged/cheap steels.

I think the matte on this looks nice. Really hoping it's a stain finish

Really dull looking steelbook, for once I think Zavvi will top Blufans as even if Zavvi's is matte as well at least it'll have some embossing (chances are it will be glossy as well tbh)

Feels like canceling all mine. The matte is such a turn-off and that full slip looks cheap.

I don't have this and I don't have it on order but it's my favourite Pixar movie by quite some distance so I'll be objective .
The outside artwork looks great to me , perhaps eve could have been on it but that's fixed by the inside artwork which is similarly very good . It's a big step up from the german version and if the finish is bothering some I can see why looking at page 19 and the gloss effect !

Spot glossing would look much better on this. Gloss Wall-E and the mound, plus some of the stars. Simple yet effective. Also less likelyhood of f@cking it up.

When an exact same steelbook is released in Asia/USA/UK/Europe
You often praise the Asian release and mock a same steelbook that's released in other countries as if the Asian steelbook is better when the steelbook is the exact same

Looking forward to your posts when Zavvi release happens which has a big possibility of been better than the Blufans Steelbook as that release will be 99% most likely be a gloss finish

I'm looking forward to Zavvi releasing steelbooks that are better than Blufans.

HMV and Play released beautiful, quality releases, and they weren't locked to Region B, with ugly artwork, ugly slips, and the world enjoyed them.

Show your support for the Zavvi gang that can't stand to see people get excited with Asian releases and snatch up some "Snatch".
