IMO,it is a little better on this first photo, but not great at all though, would need to be glossed, but my main concern is the colors, seems like there a lot less different colors in the sky especially

I will be getting:
- matte steelbook
- full slip with huge chinese writing on the front
- region locked

Where are all the asian steelbook fanatics and apologists? Put a positive spin on that if you can. Meanwhile I'll say that Blufans is one of the worst steelbook "retailers" to have ever existed.

lol ...decided to pass on this one, although beautiful and love the chinese Title !!! ...got the Future Shop one and still no releases IMO to this date can surpass it

...I still think it is such a shame that Scanavo didn't own up to their mistake and produce the Gloss Steel as it should have been(I know I am repeating myself, but I just find it unacceptable business wise - they were very unprofessional) .

it wasn't a business decision, they weren't capable of making a gloss finish without making another mess. they should have used Scanavo/Denmark if they still know how to make gloss finishes.

well I assume Scanavo China or Denmark belongs to the same people. If they knew this error could not be rectified at Scanavo China, indeed they should have made a business decision to move the production to Denmark.

on an other note I think it was a poor decision of Blufans for not waiting for the 3D release of wall-e to make their BE worth the extra $

I wouldn't be surprised if Scanavo China had a kissyfit and point blank told Denmark they wouldn't do it and we all know what China wants, China gets.

The BB / FS Steelbook looks way better than this.

This and Ratatouille were region locked from day one, so you can't blame Blufans for that.

I believe buyers were given the option to back out, so once again you can't blame Blufans for that either.

However, I am surprised that Blufans were unable to show the middle finger to Scanavo regarding the recent matte finishes on high profile titles.

The Spray cans should make this look better though.[emoji6]

i hadn't realized it, but look at the first( pictures from today)picture, below the steel you can see a reflection of the steel, as if it was glossy whereas it is not at all

Camera Photos use of Lighting and use of a Mirror can make anything look better than it really is

Looks like there'll be a few landing on the bay at knock down prices ,will drop further if as expected this is the next zavvi release in the Pixar range

When the time has come, maybe zavvi will deliver a steelbook that looks completely different from their mock up, without telling anyone (like Maleficient)...

Blufans should work on contract agreement between them and Scanavo. I'm surprised Scanavo still holds 100% patent rights for making steelbooks -that's is real problem , because they can do whatever they want with saying -"Take it or leave it".
I feel sorry for small retailers like KimchiDvD, blufans , Nova(with very limited steelbooks editions) because they don't have power in negotiations as big players on the market. For how long they gonna hold patent rights? What we need is another steelbook manufacturer.
