Regarding front art: Beauty and the Beast comes to mind.
Blufans - classy artwork conveying the desolation and feelings of loneliness.
Zavvi - a mess.

The Zavvi Wall-e steelbook is way better than the Blufans Wall-e by a big margin

Zavvi Full Gloss Finish with bright Artwork and embossing

BluFans is Matte finish with good image used but its very low resolution image and the matte finish is bad

Zavvi Wall-e is easily the Winner

Shame on the matte finish, would be absolutely stunning with high gloss finish, but Blufans blows this out of the water for me. So much better artwork.

Blufans' better image choice can't offset the awfulness of its image resolution and steelbook finish.
Don't understand this obsession with embossing or debossing but appreciate the glossy/matt preferences though for me all that is absolutely as nothing compared to the actual image itself.

The Blufans Steelbook is a joke compared to this.

Yes it is @lgans316 @paulboland @Bassaholic

Just don't see how anyone can defend it. It's dull and boring. To all the detractors I'd say get the Zavvi Wall E in your hands, and then come back and, hand on heart and with an open mind tear it's design and finish to pieces - I don't believe you could.

Credit where it's due - Zavvi along with Disney have done a fine job.

If you have a moment guys, please offer a vote of thanks for my Fast and Furious Collection by following the link below. All votes gratefully received (and thanked). I need your votes :thumbs::thumbs:

In my humble opinion Best Buy version blows both Blufans and Zavvi version out of the water. Blufans would have been the winner if it would have had high quality glossy finish and good resolution artwork.

@paulboland cheers for the pics but now your photos got me wondering see you have runaway train which is one of my fav films see is arrow, have they not done this on steelbook at all???

cheers
basil

No Basil, sadly they haven't got round to a steel for this film yet; which is a great shame; it is a cracker. Like Paul, I've just got the Arrow Amaray.
If you'd like to start a thread to ask/beg for one, I'd be happy to vote for it - or the other way round :)

Talking of votes, I'm campaigning for my first award. If you can spare a moment of your time, to visit my Fast and Furious Collection at the link below and offer a vote of thanks I'd be extremely grateful

Please tag me or whatever about the Runaway Train steel thread idea.

blufans back is just too "empty to be interresting or nice for me whereas i love the zavvi (back) one
the blufans front is way better for me than the zavvi one
in the end what makes the difference for me is the finish
therefore the zavvi one wins with its fully glossy finish so bye bye blufans steel i will gladly change it for the zavvi one :)

The original Wall-E steelbook from Best Buy is one of my favorite steelbooks and I never thought it could be surpassed, but wow this Zavvi one is just beautiful. You really cant go wrong with any Wall-E steelbook.
