The CS rep is telling me I can't get a price match on free shipping. I am pissed!!!

Not all is lost. I finally got her to credit back shipping charges up to $75 as that is what they say is their limit they can credit back on it. I guess its better than nothing. :hilarious:

And please before you ask. dont ask how much of my order that was. LOL. You already know the answer. LOL.

At $2.49 a title if they refunded you $75 that is at least 30 titles shipped. Wow I am curious now since that wasn't even all of it.

This week has been like Christmas. 10 Packages from various places overseas and now my orders from various forum members are trickling in as well. Gonna be scary when my best buy orders all came at once. My wife is starting to think maybe I should slow down. LOL.

I am just glad I got my $10 back, I will likely order another title with it. Think I should get the LOTR set while they are still on sale this week.

Of the remaining 11 titles I still need I can pass on the Green Lantern I already have it in G1 and I don't hate G1's as much as everyone else seems too and its not a good enough title to double dip on and I doubt they will make a sequel of it so need to worry about having matching sets. I am torn on V for Vendetta as I love that movie but I already have what was once the super rare Futureshop G1 of it that I paid a pretty penny for. Might be nice to have the g2 and bluray of it but I already own the steel.

After that its just which steels underwhelm me like the Last Samurai just doesn't do anything for me as it has the same cover art of every dvd ever made. I love the inception design but I already own a much nicer combo version of the movie with the bluray. I love the Matrix design as well but then I would have to look for the subsequent sequels.

So refresh my memory guys. What is best buy's actual policy about orders that you do via the website for in store pickup?

I went to get the price match and was told they don't match online orders, even ones that purchased items available in store. Asked to see the manager and was told he couldn't help me as this was policy.

Is that true?

I had to reserve them as my store is cleaned out of the ones that had unique art - hangover & lotr sets...also shawshank.

I know I can return them and rebuy, but they have to hold the item in the system for a couple of hours before it lets you repurchase. At least thats what I've seen before.

If the store wasn't 15 min out of my way, this wouldn't be a problem...

To get my $20 refund on the Book of Eli and Sucker Punch they had to return the item in their system and then re-ring the item back up at the lower price. And I ordered online, I just took them the back cards in case they needed a bar code and my online receipt and I had zero difficulties. It didn't have to even be in the system but for more than like 2 seconds. They wouldn't do it over the phone though they made me go into the store for it.

My best Buy was all out of The Book Of ELi will order from online, but I added Inception (one left now) V For Vendetta None left now and Gran Turino noneleft now. I still need Hangover II which my best buy had but it sounded broken inside or the disk was loose. My plan was to get all the ones that I didnt have on DVD

At $10 a pop its a no brainer if its a title you want.

The last two I would like to have are those two. Found one store left in my area that has the book of eli and the hangover II I will go get them tomorrow luckily they are holding them for me. I need 8 after tomorrow. Somehow I didnt even realize I had as many as I did thats how bad I am getting.

Sounds like laziness to me, they should have no problem matching their website prices. Also I think if the price decreases from when the order was placed it should automatically ring up at the new lower price.

Also ask them what happens if you decide not to take the pickup order and if they still have to hold it. That way they can ring up the newer price.

Believe it or not Andy, I had no issues at all. I just went to customer service told them I bought them less than a week ago, and could they please make the price adjustment.

Yeah problem is that I picked them up @ 14.99

So now its a price match and the clerk refused since I did the order online.

Even though I went to the store front to pick them up last Friday.

Wonder if Best Buy online will adjust the order for me...

What good is being a silver rewards member for that extra return window if you can't use it? :(

Call customer service. From bestbuy.com. Stupid policy if you ask me.

I can't find it either dizz, seems like it's been deleted from the website like a few others including Shawshank.

Crap maybe that was another one of those titles that was backordered like Shawshank which was never available for shipping not even from day 1. I am now confident my store will never get these so I am stuck in a quandry on how to get this, I thought with the free shipping now offered awesome way to get a couple more titles.

In case no one noticed, each of the steelbooks in this wave was very carefully documented with close up shots in their respective threads. The SKU for The Matrix is very clear in its thread - https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/18930/

Just saying...:D
