Crap maybe that was another one of those titles that was backordered like Shawshank which was never available for shipping not even from day 1. I am now confident my store will never get these so I am stuck in a quandry on how to get this, I thought with the free shipping now offered awesome way to get a couple more titles.

If you're not in a hurry to get them, then I'd suggest bargain hunting - who knows they might show up on the website again when stock gets returned from stores that didn't sell any, or you may even get a better price when an e-bay seller just wants to clear stock.

The other way to do it is to open a trade thread in the trading forum and see if another US member wants to help or trade a couple of your wants for something.

I have all but Goodfellas, Hangover, 300 Batman Begins, Batman Darkknight, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy! Already have these on DVD! I may get them tomorrow!

I got one of these in today from bb.com in a plastic shipping bag. No other protection but just the bag itself. I've had amarays shipped better protected than that from bb.com. Somehow it only came with a slightly scratched bottom corner and a tiny ding on the back.

I am surprised that the store ones are not dented more. I checked through most of them before I chose one. I did notice a few that were loose and sounded broken inside. Well the sale is over now so it will be interesting to see if people still buy them this week. I personally think they did the sale too soon, but it was a good way to introduce them to people the problem is now nobody will pay full price and best buy will be stuck with these like the skylanders figures. Oh well thats the way it works.

Everyone of my orders arrived in a box. Funny thing is the ones I ordered online are absolutely minty mint, while the ones in store the plastic wrap was not as nice. Going to be taking a bunch back to Best Buy this week.

Hey all I MJP500XL have officially got 500 DVD's in my personal Collection! I have done the unthinkable today I opened my $9.99 Steelbooks because I wanted them in my collection! Whoever wanted to know if Sucker Punch was one disc I can confirm it only has one disc! I made a insert out of the artwork on the back of the Steelbooks. They Look sweet! I figured for $9.99 ea I am opening these! The only one I am not happy with is my Clash of the titans there is a scratch on the part where it says clash of the titans on the book binding. I did not realize this till after I opened it but I think I will exchange it this week and say that it was damaged. Other than that I like them!

I am going to try some modifying with mine, I want to make mine into combo packs and maybe make some inside artwork for them. I am about to cut up a regular amray and see if I can hot glue or super glue it to the inside of the plastic amray portion. The only 2 of the 9 I got I didn't have on dvd were Clash of the Titans and Book of Eli so need to modify those. And I won't be modifying the two Batmans as I have a G1 steelbook for the dvd for Dark Knight and a nice collectors edition for the Batman Begins.

The only thing I did was pulll that thing off the back of the Steelbooks and I made that an insert by cutting it to fit in. Looks really sweet!

The Best Buy near me had a lot of copies left at the beginning of last week. I went in there yesterday to pick up Chronicle and the display was completely wiped except for Goodfellas. I was shocked to see that. This might of been a good sale through for Best Buy (if this Best Buy is any indicator)

I noticed at the three stores local to me they were all pretty much wiped out by Friday of last week, other than around 7 or 8 each of the Batman films left (I think they ordered the most of those).

I hope they sold well at other stores/online and the suits at BB see the potential in the Steelbooks igniting some fire into their slumping media sales.

The fact we are getting two more exclusives coming up this month is a good sign of things to come, I hope.
