Your absolutely right. It was in their ad. Though I hope they got some restock of the first one because the Best Buys around me do not have any copies left.

$26 is a bit more than what the Underworld steel went for, especially with the U&S going on. I think the $9.99 steelbook prices might of spoiled a few on paying more for steelbook packaging

I went to get Sherlock Holmes 2 today and out of habit I went and checked their display that has never had a single copy of the WB steels and lo and behold oh my freaking gosh they actually got some steels of this line in the store.

Granted it was only 9 of the 20 titles as they still have never got the other 11 titles but there was actually some of these on the shelves. I already had 4 of them (the 2 batmans and the 2 hangovers) and no desire to get a g2 Green Lantern because I already have the g1. But I did grab a 300 because it was the only one they had, the other three were goodfellas, Fellowship and Two Towers (no Return of the King though). There wasn't more than 3 of each title and only the one 300 but I just couldn't pass up actually buying one in store. I really wish we could have gotten some of them in store when they were $9.99 which is frustrating and the other title I really wanted the Matrix is still not in store and you can't order it online either.

I am willing to bet the reason why The Matrix is not easily avaible is because they want to hold back until both Japan and Germany move their titles. Kind of crowded ATM.

There is 3 titles that aren't available for online order The Last Samurai, Shawshank Redemption and the Matrix.

That's horrible. Thats a lot of scratches. It might of been caused from the handling of the steelbook after it was shrink-wrapped. But I wouldn't be positive on that

Wow, I have not seen one like that, but I have not found 1 copy without some kind of ding or scratch. I have probably looked at 30 or so copies. It is the only one out of the 20 that I could not find mint.

My only one that I didnt like was Clash of the Titans has a scratch on the bookbinding. I opened all of these. I really see no point in keeping them sealed when they were for 9.99
I noticed that the only one with 2 discs was The Dark Knight! I thought that was cool!
My best Buy had a lot left today. Some of the popular titles were gone like 300 Goodfellas Batman Begins Hangover Shawshank, but I had did a local pickup and I was able to get The Dark Knight Batman Begins and Goodfellas all for 9.99 ea still. I stll need 300, Hangover, and the Lord of The Ring Trilogy's!

Blu Ray Steelbooks on sale at Best Buy

hey everyone,
ok, i dont know if this goes here, but here goes,

i was at bestbuy the other day when i noticed Sucker Punch and Batman Begins in steelboks sittin on shelves. i was like wow, where did these come from. well, upon going thru their aisles, apparently they have a bunch of Steelbooks on sale, for $9.99
such as the ones i mentioned, plus all 3 lord of the rings movies, first sherlock holmes, matrix, plus a few others, and they were all $9.99. the might be the bestbuy exclusives, they are on their own seperate kiosk, had them listed as fathers day gifts, just got to look for them............

definetly excited for the wave of steelbooks bestbuy is getting... still am not a fan of bestbuy, their customer service or managers. but as long as they get in line with their counter part fs, i cant wait for the steelbooks we'll get !
