Superman Returns

This is a great time to catch up on collecting steelbooks as across the pond, there are many nice looking, very affordable steelbook titles on Play.com and Hmv.com. Enjoy!

All the Best Buys i've been to within a 50 mile radius (of the Orange County, CA vicinity) are sold out, or almost sold out on many of the titles in this wave of WB steelbooks. Hope that a good indicator of "good sales numbers"!

1 friend who live 3 miles from his nearest best buy and who was kind enough to pick up 13 of the aformentioned steels for me
The best part is that he will be the best man at my wedding in July in Germany so he is bringing the steelies with him

I just went to my local best buy today and they had every steelbook in but Gran Turino. I have bought Hangover today for $14.99 because they only have one left now. They had a lot of 300 which I still need that I will go do a store pickup because I ran out of money. I need 300 and the Lord Of the rings trilogy than I have them all. I bet they will be on sale soon to help sell Wrath of the titans. I did get the Futureshop version of Sherlock holmes game of shadows when I was in Canada this weekend. I also got the futureshop ghost rider version. Which is great! I open all mine! I have an extra Futureshop factory sealed version of Sherlock holmes Game of shadows steelbook that I managed to get across the border!!!

Received mine from DB today. Unfortunately they all have paint defects of some kind. I'm really disappointed as it's impossible to tell before opening. It is only the odd spot on each, but it pretty much ruins them. They will definitely need to improve quality on any future releases as this just isn't acceptable.

Received mine from DB today. Unfortunately they all have paint defects of some kind. I'm really disappointed as it's impossible to tell before opening. I have felt the FS Batman ( 1990) which i have, has a blemish in the bat symbol ..but somehow i ended up liking it as it was unique to the book , the movie and the character.. But i also dont have any others to compare it to to .. so maybe the odd spot is part is the in the art

Easily. When it is so obvious, then I can't look at them without noticing the defects. Gran Torino is especially bad, the whole back said is covered in patches of silver, very noticeable when the steelbook is black.

The couple I had that were bad I just took my different colored Sharpies and fixed. You could never tell they had blemishes

hey all today I went to my local Best Buy to exchange my extra Wrath of the Titans that came in the mail and I got to the display that had the 20 usa Best Buy Exclusive steelbooks I nearly had a heart attack because all of them were gone except for The two batman movies! I had still needed 300 and The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, so I asked the employee what had happened to the steelbooks and he said he didnt know and checked online but he didnt find them there anymore than we went around to the 300 movies and the steelbook was on the shelf by the movie! Phew I got that one then they had the Lord of the rings trilogy but only got the fellowship! I still need the other two lord of the rings I guess I will go back and get those before they are gone completly they are my last two I need of the best buy exclusives for my collection! BTW he told me that the BB employee came in and moved them which doesnt make sense to me unless people werent noticing them at that location in the store because they werent by the original movie they just had there own stand that being said was my scare for the day! Did they move them around at anybody elses best buy? I cant get over how many batman begins they had and batman darkknight that is just because they are promoting BDKR with it!

They put them on the racks by me with the amaray cases after the $9.99 sale. All 3 I went to had them towards the back of the store past the DVDs closer to the games so alot of people didn't even see them. I barely walk past the Blu section anymore so I would of missed them If I didn't know about them.
