I bought Batman Begins 'original artwork' from Amazon.ca
And this is what I received today....

Begins isn't listed in the canadian releases, does anyone know if we can expect more of the US titles to be released in Canada on Tuesday?

Any WalMart insiders here?

Just opened 'V for Vendetta' I ordered on Amazon.ca
No inside artwork, so this must be the new batch despite it being listed as on the original with interior artwork.
This is a disappointing steelbook day for me. :(

I just noticed on a new V for Vendetta copy I received a few days ago that the title on the side is different than the old Steels I have and so I was wondering if this is a new release and if it had inside artwork. Thanks to your post I now know that it is a new releases and has no Inside Art anymore, which is very dissapointing, since I think the V for Vendetta Steelbook is one of the best looking Steelbook releases.

They have to ship them all over the US, it's no different to ship them here. And as for the taxes, I can't say for sure, but I can't see a retailer being taxed that highly..

We used to see price differences like this when the dollar was at a 30 cent difference. Now there is no reason for it.

Thanks Drum for letting me know about HMV. I went and the one near me had 1 copy of each, actually some titles they didn't even have. AND most of the spines were slashed. Very Frustrating. I might try to make a trip down to the states now...

Yikes! I also checked out my BB, FS and Wal-Mart too....nothing...very few in HMV but I was having second thoughts...maybe it would be better and cheaper to get them in the US~! BUT I went to Wal-Mart and saw a whole bunch of Metal-Paks (Godfather, Transformers, Deep Impact, Mission Impossible, Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games etc...)
not really sure if I should buy any of those...
