I beg to differ, your just thinking post bestbuy wb wave. Sherlock Holms Game of Shadows, Underworld, Ghost Rider, All the Disney Metal Cases, ZDT, Django, Total Recall, Latest Resident Evil, Bourne Trilogy, and thats just off the top of my head. All of those had interior art. Now if your talking matte vs glossy. I think thats a whole lot of "meh". So considering the US has just got into the game now that there is a G2 Factory. We're doing a bang up job as far as im concerned. Exclusives, you only list ZDT, but we have had our share with these bestbuy waves that are exclusive art Lol. IE; Hangover Part I.

Canada on the other hand, has slipped.

+1 thank you very much!

Many of this wave actually say made in Denmark on the back, which makes me think what's going on with the NA factory. ZDT was a superb SteelBook as were many of the titles you mentioned. What I meant, and I apologise for not being clear is North American exclusives and not world wide releases. Quality control is a huge issue for most NA releases, look at the Bourne movies and Django Unchained. More chip than Lays. NA needs to bring out another stellar exclusive post ZDT and not merely pump out the same old titles. More TGI Fridays and less MacDonalds.

I can't speak for quality, as I haven't had any issues. I think given more time as with anything we will see more exclusives. I'm happy enough to be getting anything local. The US collector market has always been bound to overseas/canada collecting. Huge savings on our pocket.

I don't think people realize how great of a Steelbook Ghost Rider 2 was. Sure the moive was below average but with a super glossy surface and nice metallic effects on the flames including internal artwork. You can't ask for more especially for a pre-order bonus steel.

I think people gave it a bad rep becuase no one really liked the whole pre order steelbook bonus concept. :D

In other news, im dying to know what other steelbooks of this wave have interior art. I'm starting to wonder if maybe one of the re-releases have interior art.

If any have inside art it's pretty much guaranteed to be a re-release since that's all that are left unaccounted for.

Maybe it's Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises that have inside artwork? It has to be.

Thoe ive seen people say that those do not have inside art, I have not seen the actual source of said info. However, there is no dark knight rises us release of the new art. Only the first two.

Oops :emb:

I don't see how it can be any of the Best Buy titles, as why would they bother re-releasing them only to add inside artwork? I don't think we can be certain until we've seen pictures for all of the titles.

Since Green Hornet has a different exterior and watchmen was the same as the previous release ca but counts as a first time us release with interior art also... and "new" releases have no interior art, I think its all a gamble at this point. I imagine tommorrow or wend we will know for sure.

Anyone know what store will have the best price?

As of right now, it looks like Walmart has the lowest price. If Best Buy lowers the price to $14.99 on release day tomorrow, with the Upgrade and Save trade-in coupon, it will have the lowest price at $9.99 before tax. However there is no mention of this release in this week's BB flyer (at least the one I saw yesterday). I suspect BB will put out the display tomorrow or later this week and put an updated price on the display in-store.

I knew this is Warner Bros. Wave, but I couldn't find the Paramount one (searched through the forum though), so anybody could tell me more about those Paramount Steelbooks on the shelves? Especially Transformers 1, 3, how do they look? Emboss, inside artwork?... thank you guys :)

It's because they are MetalPaks. Find the link below.

Anyone here going to Walmart tonight at midnight to pick up the steelbooks ? I hope they have them on display at midnight.

I've been wondering what time Walmart stores actually put stock out on the floor. The Walmarts near me are Super Walmarts (24 hours) so I do wonder if they will have any out when the clock strikes 12.
