Warner Bros. Wave - May 7, 2013 (Blu-ray SteelBooks) [USA]

A new wave of Steelbooks coming to the USA, due for release on May 7th 2013-appearing at multiple retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes and Noble, in-store at Costco, etc.

Small update:

actually about 3-4 titles will have inside art.

R these available in best buy stores? Ive been saving some best buy credit so I can get a few of these.

Right now these are not available in store. Also quantities are limited at Walmart. My local store for example only had 4 copies of each from the wave. As always they could be restocked at a later date. Had to ask dept. Manager to grab items from the back so picked a couple of copies for me and some ninjas I'm helping source these.

Well...with all the dissing of paramount going with metal packs, I have to say these Warner steels look cheap as hell next to the metals. Very disappointed in the quality of these steelbooks.

Go by which ever one matches the current discs that are out. IE; watchman, gladiator, etc.

I would double check just to be sure, sometimes the catalog details on websites are not correct, because of ported over info from other editions. There have also been cases where a 2 disc of a film was released and then all of a sudden a 1 disc special edition is released.

No inside art. No buy. And to be honest, rather not double dip on old movies. My Chinatown copy with slipcover is nice enough not to warrant a steelbook purchase especially if the video wasn't remastered....oh well. Bring on the next wave.

My Walmart DID have the steels after all. Scored a Watchmen & a Scott Pilgrim one for a few dollars more than the Watchmen one wound have cost via Amazon. Woohoo!!!

Was at bestbuy, there was no display of steelbooks. Try to order few steels via expresslane ordering using U&S coupon for $14.99. Ordered the following the rest disappeared from BB website wierd.

i went to a walmart today and they didn't have Dark Knight. so, i called the other walmarts in my area, and none had them on display and weren't sure when / if they would get them.
